DO NOT USE THIS STORE! I had a terrible experience at this TCC store, and I strongly recommend going to the Verizon company store on Route 6 instead.
I was told I needed to pay $130 in taxes and fees for a new phone, as Patricia stated my device from T-Mobile would not transfer online—something the Verizon store on Route 6 (huge shoutout to Liam and his manager) was able to do without any issues. After getting my line fixed at the real Verizon store, I returned to the TCC the same day to return the phone. That’s when I was told I’d have to pay a $100 restocking fee (double what Verizon stated and double what was shown on the receipt they printed for me, as I was not given one upon leaving). When I mentioned calling Verizon corporate, Patricia dismissively said, “Okay then,” and I left.
After speaking with Verizon’s corporate support, they confirmed that I should be refunded in full, minus a $50 restocking fee, not $100. When I went back to the store, I kept the Verizon representative on the phone to ensure I was charged correctly. At that point, Patricia stated she didn’t know how much I would be refunded, and it all depends on what comes up in her system. She refused to refund $79.99, claiming it was a "service fee" to the store for activating my line, and in addition to the $50 restocking fee, she charged me $8.60 in tax for the return.
Thankfully, the Verizon representative on the phone assured me that I would be refunded the money the store was keeping— as Verizon would credit my account for the difference. Customers during all of these exchanges noted similar concerns, stating it is always a problem dealing with this store, and one family I was speaking to even left after waiting an hour because she was helping three people at once, while one employee couldn’t access most concerns because Patricia is the only one with authority/credentials for the store.
This entire ordeal was a nightmare, and I would never recommend this TCC store. If you need any Verizon-related service, go to the official Verizon store on Route 6 instead.
*Note- take notice of how the responses all state “we look forward to working with you again” and mention the store location to “satisfied” customers. Those who express concerns are directed to deal directly with a company run store or call customer service, not return to their TCC retail only store, that has no connection to the servicer, Verizon, as they are merely authorized retailers of Verizon cell phones and devices. *

I signed up for Verizon at this location and was told my bill would be around $220/mo. Fast forward and it’s $425/mo. And this is not just “the first month or two that is going to be high”, this is nearly 5 months later. I’ve called Verizon support 3 times now who assured me the situation was fixed and I just got my bill for another $425. We were flat out lied to by both the sales rep and the customer service. DO NOT switch to Verizon. They are liars.

Don't recommend using this store I ordered a phone they have in stock online through the website so I could just swoop in fast and pick it up and well after two days of leaving me in the dark I just decided to cancel and go else where

What an unprofessional joke. Ordered three iPhones from here. They were allegedly stolen and they couldn’t bother to let me know. I came into the store three times over two weeks asking. Finally found my original rep who chalked it up to “a bad day” … well I needed those phones for work. He then helped me reorder the phones but the wrong models. I ended up having to get the phones replaced at the store in Dickson City because apparently this isn’t even a real Verizon store… Well that is where the real nightmare began… Verizon flagged my. Account for fraud and I’ll spare the endless facepalm of this story but I’ve had to spend hours and hours on customer service, pay hundreds of dollars in account and restocking fees on phones I don’t have, on an account I never used. Verizon is a corporate monolith with no soul that doesn’t care for their customers. And this store is run by disorganized phone peddlers just looking for a commission that day. Stay away!
