My cat Pearl has a heart murmur and I was very nervous to spay her because of the risk. Dr. Boyle was very honest and explained the risk of Pearls heart under anesthesia. She agreed to spay her if I understood the risks. She told me she would use a special cardiac protocol for her drugs. She made it through surgery and I am so grateful to Dr. Boyle and her staff for taking such great care of my special girl.

This place is amazing! The Dr took her time with me and explained everything in detail. There were no questions when I left. The staff are very kind and helpful. I would never take my dog anywhere else.

After a horrible experience at another provider, we could not be happier with sewickley vet! The Dr ALWAYS makes us feel like our pets are family! We as well as our fur babies are always treated with respect!

Every member of the staff we met with was so kind, knowledgeable and professional. You can tell they all love our furry friends, as well. The hospital itself is clean and inviting. We are happy to have found this place.

Kiki and I are kind of shy, but you both were kind and patient, so much so that Kiki didn’t utter a sound during her testing.

Dr. Boyle was kind and gave Lola an all comprehensive check when she came in not feeling her best. She made recommendations and after only 3 days our elderly cat is already in better condition. Thank you for seeing us and getting us in quickly!

My dog recently passed and anyone who has gone through that knows how terribly hard that is to go through. I can’t thank Dr Chamberlain, the front desk staff and the vet techs for their compassion, patience and friendly faces every time we had an appointment. Towards the end my dog had a lot of appointments and they always tried to make it easier for him. Dr Chamberlain is absolutely incredible and has cared for my dog for years. In the end she was the comforting hand we needed.

I take my 6 month old puppy to Sewickley Veterinary Hospital and have had nothing but great experiences so far. The staff is very caring and kind and will answer any questions in detail. They make sure that my puppy has a great experience when she is there— they give her treats while she is getting vaccinated, etc.. She loves them! I highly recommend.

Puppy approved! Capicola the Cockapoo loves the compassionate veterinarians and support staff! The staff is very kind and professional, and I can tell my dog feels comfortable with them handling him. Also, Sewickley Veterinary Hospital gives intelligent advice on dog food, treats, and training. Free beverages are available for humans which will be great in the summer especially. Five stars!

My dog was sick and I was really concerned. I was able to get an appointment that day and get her examined. Any concern I had was addressed without making me feel like I was being an overly protective dog mom which was greatly appreciated and everyone was very friendly and supportive. Both my dogs are like my children and I want to take care of them the best I can since we only have them for a short time. They deserve that since they give so much in return and Sewickley Veterinary does a great job helping me make sure they are as healthy as possible!

First of all this is very hard to write. As I wipe the tears consistently, look around the empty house looking for her little face and gather my thoughts, especially the day after, I must reach out while still fresh in memory.. I’ve had my cat Marbles for 10 years and I just moved to Pittsburgh last week. I brought her initially in October here and although she went missing in August she came back after a month but noticed a decline in her health. We found the first vet available and Dr. Chamberlain and her team took her in immediately. She was sooo sweet to our baby, treating her like her own. Marbles had worms, hyperthyroidism, needed medication, the list goes on but we were determined to make our girl better.I went back to Canada and made my official move to Pittsburgh last week where Marbles’ health unfortunately took a major decline. Last night we called and listed all her symptoms and without hesitation they told us to bring her in immediately. Dr. Chamberlain was sympathetic, to the point, but was realistic to Marbles’ case. Unfortunately we witnessed our poor girl go through a traumatic event but the whole team was so incredibly supportive, caring and went above and beyond for us and our baby and we just cannot say thank you enough. If and when we are ready to get another fur baby, it is without a doubt we would choose Sewickley Vet to be our baby’s animal doctors’. Thank you again.RIP Marbles xx

We have been using SVH for several years. We had a dog who was an extremely difficult patient that we were unable to take to any other vet in the area, but Dr. Boyle went above and beyond to provide care for him. We recently had to say goodbye to him, and the staff at SVH were amazing. We will continue to take our other dog and any future pets to SVH even though we now live well outside the Sewickly area!
