I was in the store on the morning of July 7th. I walked passed one employee stocking and noticed she was wearing ear buds. She was the only employee that I saw. I got what I needed and went to the register. I stood there for five minutes trying to get her attention. She was in line of sight from the register. I decided I had enough when she pulled her phone out of her bra messed with it for a min and looked in my direction, stuck her phone back in her bra and proceeded to ignore me.

Self checkouts are the demise of this store. Always a problem at one or more of them and when that happens you are lucky to be able to find an employee to help. I guess with self checkout theres no need for any of them to be present. If by some rare chance they are present, theres no greeting when you enter and walk right past them, they are usually too busy on their phones or conversating amongst themselves or with some loud unsavory looking person about their personal lives loud enough for everyone to hear. Although is just a Dollar General there still should be some level of professionalism and customer service.

Do not shop at this store if I could give 0 stars I would. The Manager Michael locks the door 10 minutes before the store closes. I will not go back until this changes.
