I have rented from uhaul Bloomsburg atleast 10 times a year. I needed a pickup truck so had to go to this one to get one.No problem getting it or to drop off. Then 2 weeks later I get a letter that I caused damage to the bumper and they were charging me $140 even though I bought the insurance.Insurance dosen't cover trucks with a removable hitch.I returned the truck without any damage. How can they take 2 weeks to tell me I had damaged it.So then I called the main office they agreed it was unusual that they didn't notify me right away. They said I would be able to dispute it but the person that would make the decision is the district manager. He is also the owner of that particular Uhaul. He is a dirtbag con artist. So obviously he said I was guilty. Now I get a letter that they are seeking collections on me for the damage. So they con me into buying insurance that dosen't even cover the vehicle and then they probably damaged it themselves and try to get me for it.I will have to pay for it but I will make sure that I cost them much more with this review.Do not deal with this uhaul!

Use another location. They told me to show up at 9 am for an appliance dolly, first come first served. Fair enough. Waited 40 minutes and nobody showed up to open the store. Finally gave up & got one elsewhere. Called National U-Haul and they couldn’t get anyone to answer their phones. Felt bad for the people outside waiting for their reserved trucks.

I had a last minute reservation as my plans to move totally fell apart the night beforehand. I had to rent a truck , and was still expecting another adult to help. They were a no show , and I was moving everything out of a 3 bd apt to another with just two teenagers to help. I got it back the same day , didn't even use half the stuff I "bought" from them (furniture pads, couch and mattress cover). It was late , yes, but it was still before the next business day. They still charged me double. A $30 purchase turned into $50 at the store (which she didn't initially tell me was just a "hold" on my card) , then that $50 turned into $90 the next day bc of the second day charge. I had to call and verify that I wasn't in fact charged 3 times bc like I said , I was unaware it was a hold placed at the store and not a charge. Things need explained better and we should get return credit for things we bought but didn't use. The bags were left in the front of the truck and unopened, while the furniture pads were untouched also.

I recommend this station for u-hail pickup. Used the trailer , got immediate help from the lady on duty. She was really kind to speak candidly. Thanks again for help and trust. Will stop by to see you again .

There was only one person working, so I had to wait to pickup my registration, because auto check in demanded me to verify someone else's phone number. I didn't mind waiting; however, this took about 45 minutes of my use time. I was told the truck was at full and assumed I should pump gas into it until the pump kicked. I ended up putting 5 gallons into the truck, to travel 58 miles. If you don't return the truck with the same amount of gas, they charge you at a rate of over 6 dollars per gallon. I find it hard to believe that your moving vans only receive 11 miles to the gallon of gasoline. I mentioned this to your employee and it was disregarded. I feel like I got ripped off, especially when the truck is advertised at $19.95 to rent. My total cost to use your truck for 5 hours was $101.37. There are more hidden fees when renting a U-Haul, than there are when signing up with a cable company. I intially sent this review to U-Haul's internal customer service department two weeks ago, and have not received any feedback.

The individual who rented us a truck and car dolly lied right off the bat about how much fuel the truck had in it. They also gave us the wrong style car hauler and it wouldn't work for the car we were trying to move. The car was damaged just trying to to load it and we never did succeed. I am trying to get a refund for the equipment that turned out to be useless to us and I am just getting the run around. I am very unhappy with this whole experience. I am not even asking for the cost of damages to the car. I only want to be refunded for the equipment that we were not able to use anyway.

I am a 24 year old young woman and I feel I was taken advantage of at this location. I made a reservation for a 5 x 8 trailer because the 4 x 6 trailer was unavailable in the area around me let it be known I drive a Hyundai Kona a small subcompact SUV. When I arrived at this location to pick up the 5 x 8 trailer I was given a 6 x 12 trailer and not told it was a 6 x 12 trailer. I will admit I have no concept of size I just knew I was picking up a trailer. The 6 x 12 trailer is significantly large and far too large for my vehicle to safely tow. I ended up having to contact corporate to contact another U-Haul along my moving route and switch out trailers for a smaller size. I am significantly disappointed with the service I received at this location.

No one is ever in the store working during business hours! We reserved a truck from here twice and both times the store was locked up. We had to be out of our house and had a truck reserved and had no contact pickup. The code wasn’t working for us to get the keys and no one was available to help us. After calling the corporate line, they told up to get keys from store clerk…there was no one working! We had no way to move!

Just went to U-Haul Shamokin Dam and was given great service by Ben Martin. He helped me exchange a ball which was the incorrect height for towing. He made sure I had the correct clearance height and thank goodness because when I picked up my rv trailer last week I had to tow it really LOW down Rte 80. Scary. But no more! He also checked my wiring which was fine. Now I know the problem with the wiring is with my trailer and not the UH wiring. Thanks so much Ben.

INCOMPETENT!!!! I ordered a hitch and for it to be installed. Salesman gave me approx. date it would be delivered. I went that day (2 weeks later) and he hadn't even ordered it.
