In town for a family reunion and stayed at this wonderful B&B for 2 nights. Our only regret was not having the time to speak further with the owner Dave, as his knowledge of the area's history was interesting.Rooms: Room

We didn't stay, but we were here for my cousin's baby shower. This place was fascinating and rich with Shamokin culture. Every wall tells a different story. If we are ever in need of a place to stay or know someone that is, we know where to recommend them. You only remember you're still in Shamokin when you go outside...

This place is a hidden gem! The host David is very nice and hospitable.. the house is absolutely beautiful inside and out. It’s walking distance to all the places you’ll need to go and the town is as charming as this bed and breakfast! I will for sure be returning!

It was like staying in a museum. The history of the building and items that are displayed were very much the center of attention. We found that integrity valuable. The temperature was perfect. Everything they provided was just what we needed. We love to see the life coming back to the area that holds so much history for our families.Rooms: The space was astonishing! The decor and art was like a time capsule.Noteworthy details: The history and knowledge that they shared was very interesting and informative. We were intrigued and fascinated.

This place is beautiful affordable and its like having a home away from home. The rooms are huge. I would deff stay here again. The owner is a nice guy very accommodating. I booked the pecan sweet i think it was called and we had a living room with a eat in kitchen. A second living room with a pull out sofa. And a hug bedroom with two queen beds and two walk in closets. There was also a beautiful balcony. This place is two victorian homes combined and the ceilings are high. Its decorated with history. every room is very specious. And the best part is its kid friendly. There is lots of parking and its close to all the stores. Everything is walking distance. This place will not disappoint.

Staying here was more like being at 1950's boarding house than a B&B. I stayed here with a group of women, and the owner made us very uncomfortable with a lot of scolding about undocumented rules, going into our rooms while we weren't present and generally inserting himself into our experience inappropriately - like coming into our room at 10pm. I would never stay here again.

my entire floor was just extraordinary. i loved the amenities and David was a very nice man who gave us some history about the building. i highly recommend staying there as you cannot beat the price for any other B&B around.
