I am extremely disappointed with the presentation and final appearance of my grandfather at the funeral. I remain in a state of disbelief and heartbrokenness, as I feel that the funeral home demonstrated a lack of professionalism in their preparation of his body. Notably, the autopsy stitches on his head were visible, and it would have been a simple gesture to request a hat or other covering to conceal this. Furthermore, the stitches appeared loose, and blood was still visible. His lips and nose had dried blood on them, giving the appearance that the body had not been properly cleaned. The makeup applied was uneven and clumped in various areas of his face. Additionally, the funeral home dressed him in a suit that did not belong to him, resulting in an ill-fitting and oversized appearance. I was also distressed to observe fluid emanating from his ears and mouth. As an honorary member of the military, I was appalled that the flag was not properly presented to the family at the church, nor was it folded correctly. This oversight is a slap in the face, considering his service to the country. The owner of the funeral home seemed entirely unbothered by the subpar presentation, which I found to be particularly egregious given their years of experience in the industry. I felt that they demonstrated a complete lack of compassion. I strongly advise against using this funeral home, as they prioritize financial gain over providing compassionate service to families. This business has clearly deteriorated and is not the same as it was years ago.

Great experience here for an immediate family member. Staff was professional, caring and extremely prompt responding to request and concerns.

Mr.Edney is a amazing man! So patient so genuine he’s help my family for year laying our love ones to rest and when my father passed in 2019 he helped me every step of the way.

Very unprofessional, did not respect the wishes of the family members. I’ll called to find out what was happening with my mother and he allowed someone that didn’t work there to disrespect me and hang up the phone on me. If you want to be treated with respect do not go here

Dishonest, cruel,despicable,absolutely no compassion. Lied to people about service being provided.Egotistical, unethical, should be ashamed of themselves for what they put us through. Not ethically responsible. Beat up casket used at funeral, completely devastating to family

I’m in awe at the treatment of my family during their time of loss. This funeral home is the perfect example of where NOT to go if you want a professional experience. If you’re in this business you have to be able to exercise professionalism and empathy none of which was given to my fiancé. She went to the funeral home to drop off shoes for her deceased mom and the funeral director walked away while she was trying to hand him her items . WHO does this that?!! How can you be in this business and not have empathy for people?!! Listen if you don’t need to be stressed go elsewhere because this is not it.
