“I don't usually write reviews at all but I have been so moved by this funeral home and their compassion and services. In February 2022 I came to them for a cremation when my mother died. John was so very gentle with me. Everything went so easily and smoothly. I felt in very capable and kind hands.Within a day or two, after I had made the arrangements and left, John contacted me because I had left a ring on my mother's finger, and he asked me if I wanted it. Also, my requests around the ashes were a bit unusual and he was able to make sure everything I wished for was accomplished. Now, a year later, I have received a lovely card recognizing the one year anniversary of my loss. I am so touched this funeral home's sensitivity and kindness. I can't recommend them enough!”

“When my mother passed it was really hard to deal with emotionally. My mother always wanted Ms. Sheffield to prepare her for her going home arrangements even when she was well. My mother really loved Ms. Sheffield's personality and she was very proud of her accomplishments. When it was time to have her body prepared Ms Sheffield listened to my concerns and my fears about putting my mother to rest. She encouraged my sister and I to bring what we would like for our mother to wear. The one thing I will never forget that was so special was she made my mother still feel warm when I touched her. That still brings tears to my eyes. My mother looked like herself as well and she was so beautiful. Dealing with a love one passing is very tough. Ms. Sheffield is very professional and dedicated and she truly made this time easier to handle.”
