Shopping for my wedding dress at The Winner was an experience full of hidden gems—literally. The store has a more old-school vibe when you first walk in, but don’t let that fool you. If you take the time to look around, you’ll find some absolutely stunning dresses at very reasonable prices.
The seasoned staff at The Winner were fantastic. When I returned to try on my dress again after visiting other stores, one of the long-time employees helped me accessorize and truly brought the whole look together. Her knowledge and styling advice made such a difference.
That said, my experience with some of the newer staff was a little more hit-or-miss. One of them measured me incorrectly (thankfully, I trusted my gut and had someone else re-measure), and they seemed to have trouble finding the dresses I had picked out from the website. Funny enough, my maid of honor actually found the dress for me while browsing the racks as we waited. The younger staff were polite and eager to help but didn’t have the same styling or fitting experience as the seasoned team members.
The Winner doesn’t offer in-house alterations, but I found their dress prices very fair—especially for the quality and variety they carry. My advice: go in with an open mind, give yourself time to explore, and if possible, make an appointment with one of the experienced staff members. They really know how to pull everything together and help you find the perfect dress.

I had the absolute best experience finding my dream wedding dress thanks to Sasha! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel so comfortable, listened to everything I was looking for, and somehow knew exactly what would make me feel confident, beautiful, and me. Her kindness, patience, and genuine excitement made the whole experience unforgettable. I never felt rushed or pressured—just completely supported and celebrated. Sasha truly has a gift, and I’m so grateful she was part of such a special moment in my life. Brides, if you’re lucky enough to work with Sasha, you’re in the best hands!

Just purchased my bridal dress from The Winner, and my mom also purchased her MOB dress as well! My consultant Jada was so wonderful, she not only helped me find a dress I was comfortable and feel beautiful in, but also was so light hearted and kind throughout. On the other hand, the other consultants on the bridal floor were snippy, made rude comments and were disrespectful to my MIL and mom who were trying on dresses which made my MIL decide to stop looking in this store. We ended up finding my mom a dress she felt gorgeous inc but zero consultants helped her, I ended up being the one to help her instead, and then a consultant got COMMISSION for helping her, when they absolutely did not. I really wish they could’ve been as kind as Jada and not make comments that made my MIL decide to shop elsewhere when we all drove 2+ hours to shop here.

I found the most beautiful wedding dress I’ve ever put on at the Winner. Jada was so perfect to work with and pulled so many dresses I was looking for. Highly recommend this place and the freedom it allows for picking out dresses. Although my family and Jada picked amazing dresses, I’m happy I picked the dress I said yes to myself!! They also offer 10% discount for military!

The staff needs a lesson in customer service- also consider updating return policy as it’s outdated- I returned a dress 24 hours later due to needing the money back for an important situation that came up and was offered store credit- partially my fault but the staff should verbalize this and not just tell customer to, “read the sign”.

I have always had a great experience at The Winner, from homecoming to prom dresses to now bridal shopping. As soon as you walk through the front door, there is always the most welcoming lady there to greet you and help direct you to where you need to go. They had a nice selection of wedding dresses in all different price ranges. My bridal consultant Mary was a great help! I recommend shopping here for any special occasion dresses!

Beautiful dresses!
Decent prices on the basement level.
Beautiful old building, very well kept!
Gorgeous selection of sparkly evening shoe.
Customer service on basement floor was good, offered and set up fitting rooms and left to browse at our leisure -no pressure at all.
Second floor bathroom is beautiful.
Associates on the second floor were uninterested speaking to my mother and I.
Fun experience with my mom! ?

Beautiful dresses, Horrible Experience! Our consultant (I use this word lightly) Raegan was the sole reason we didn't purchase a dress. This is supposed to be a magical experience for the bride to be and what we got was a young lady who was more interested in being on her phone or talking to other consultants than helping us. Once we expressed our budget she went from what can I do for you too these 2 racks are what you can choose from tell me when you have 10. We were rushed, ignored and at the end when it was down to 2 dresses our style said we can hold one & that is the only way we can size you. No dressing up with the veil or accessories. What should have been a wonderful & memorable moment is now a search to find a bridal shop that carries these 2 dresses so my future DIL can have that experience she deserves! Very sad that we drove over a hour to come to this store just to wish we didn't. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time if you want the bridal experience.

Edit: in response to the owner’s comment:
He was told that the company did not have the ability to process Apple Pay . I could also get on an airplane and fly in so my card could be ran. There are many options that we could work out speaking as adults. The major problem here is the zero compassions and zero flexibility to hold a dress as a courtesy for a few days for 2 teenage kids that want nice outfits. The simple question is why was there no courtesy extended to this young couple!
My sons girlfriend wanted to get a dress from this particular location. I live out of state. Sadly they don’t have contact less payment nor offer any way to pay online. I asked them to hold the dress for a few days so I can send cash via apple to my son and he could drive to the 1.5 hours to pay with his card . Unfortunately they don’t want to help a young couple get a $600 dress for a special
Occasion. Small businesses need to rethink their policies and start to value the consumer. These younger customers are their future. If not, Amazon would be glad to accept their business !!!!

This place is HUGE. I have lived in the area my entire life. I've never been in there until recently. Nice place and so much to choose from. Wow!
