I ran into a small issue regarding depositing some bonds into my account and Nicole was helping me sort through it, along with another teller whose name I unfortunately can't remember. The manager was also extremely helpful! The staff had so much grace and patience, all while it was almost closing time, which speakes volumes!

I closed my account at the Shavertown Bank due to the attitude that a teller gave me every time I went to her very rude and unprofessional always gave me a hard time and when Getting money back would be all mix up and other things she do. I have told other tellers ,all they would say is that they didn’t like to hear that ?. She shouldn’t be working with the public .

The teller BECKY has a lot of attitude and to also call the customer a liar. I am glad I am closing my account here. I will say Maryanne was AMAZING! I wish I dealt with her for the transaction. Becky was NO help whatsoever. I am glad that COMMUNITY BANK NA was there for me. If you want to BANK HAPPY go elsewhere to bank.

I had my account inactive for quite some time. There was a $20 withdrawal from the account to my credit card that apparently drew from the wrong account and over drafted my account. I was not aware of this transaction even taking place but since it did I was hit with an overdraft fee and a fee every day also. I was made aware of this when I received a call from their collections team just before it went to a collections agency which would also tarnish my credit. I went in to have it resolved and was told I owed over $140 and that they were not able to do anything about the daily fees. I paid over $140 to close the account and have never felt like people just didn't care more than I did during those conversations. I received the mail warning of the overdraft fees the day after the phone call with an ad on it about their mortgage rates. After all this I would never trust this company with my account, my loan , and especially not with my home.

Wonderful staff experience! Coleen went above and beyond helping me with a situation regarding a banking issue. After spending so much time working with me, it ended up being my mistake! Extremely knowledgeable and helpful!

Community Bank in Shavertown is by far the best bank I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve never been charged any fees, even when I accidentally overdraft, they’ve let me just fix it the next day without a fee! Their app is always accurate and not super slow, something I can’t say about banks like Wells Fargo, Citizens Bank, and especially not NBT! They even gave me $25 for each account just for switching AND a free gift! I just wish I had switched sooner!
