Hours: Whispering Winds Campground is a wonderful and peaceful place, described as a little piece of heaven. It is a family friendly, low key, and quiet campground that is well maintained and beautiful. The main feature is a peaceful and magical creek that runs through the property, perfect for relaxing. The campground is directly connected to the Allegheny National Forest, with an old road and a trail head right there for nice long hikes in the woods. The owners are great, wonderful, kind, pleasant, and super friendly hosts who are very accommodating. They provide great service and have fun activities throughout the summer. Amenities include a playground, a pool, and a fantastic game room. The game room features vintage arcade games, a pool table, air hockey, an arcade cabinet, old school puck bowling, and a pinball machine, offering fun for all ages. Cabin options like the Deerlick and the Hillside are cute, spotless, and can accommodate families or couples, with nice TVs and internet access. The campsites are spaced nicely. Visitors highly recommend staying here and many plan return trips, giving the experience a perfect rating.
