Update: Got letters from the IRS & PA State saying the taxes were submitted incorrectly and the refund was lower than what was actually owed.
So, paid these jokers money to get a smaller refund than owed. Will literally never use or suggest HR block again to anyone. Complete clown show here.
Original Review - An outrageous amount of money paid for taxes that are not complicated. Claim they will find you the maximum refund, which I’m sure they did. However that is chewed up and even more with the fees they charge. When you ask questions, they talk to you and treat you like an idiot. Their claims of affordable tax filing is a lie and they will not tell you how much it will cost so they can stick you with the bill at the end.
The professionalism at this location is sub par at best.
Do yourself a favor and download an at home tax software program and spend a few weekends to do it yourself.
I have half a mind to leave reviews at all HR Block locations in the area to warn people before they get scammed as well.

The service in local office was efficient and friendly. On-line assistance with a problem is ineffective, non-existent and frustrating.

Fees are ABSOLUTELY outrageous to file taxes at this location. Not to mention when I came to drop my taxes off, I was met with a woman who was very rude when I was confused on whether or not to go in the building. She rudely told me that she needs to finish her cigarette in a rude voice before she came in. Which was fine, but no need for the attitude.

I had my taxes prepared by them. Afterwards, I had a question. Called, no one could answer. I had to schedule a telephone appointment to ask it again. No one called me as scheduled. Then, I attempted to leave a message. The machine cut me off before I could ask. Save your money and aggravation. Don't go here.
