This place absolutely 100% sucks! Employees are rude as of late. Store was a mess a while back. Will never go back. I'd rather drive into town and shop at Key Foods..you might pay a little more but won't be belittled in front of other customers!!! I hope they close this dump as Pike county has MORE than enough DGs already.

Stopped in today and had the pleasure of hearing Cheryl answer phone calls and want to help us despite our love for Self Check Out. Dollar General is lucky to have such an outstanding and personable employee at this location.

Multiple u-boat carts blocking isles so you can't get to the items you want to purchase. I asked several times to two employees if they could move 1 of them so I could get to the items I required and was yelled at to: "go around". I had already gone around several times but couldn't get to the items and that's why I asked politely (several times as they were too busy laughing and joking about doctors) if they could move the one cart only to be yelled at by the associate who called himself the manager. This is inappropriate behavior for any store associate, let alone a manager especially towards a disabled individual. If I was able bodied, I would have moved the U-boat myself. While this store does have some excellent employees, these two guys were certainly not.

Well organized store, clean and well lit. Very friendly staff. Expansive selection if products. We spend time at a camp just down the road, and coming from 3 hours away, we know we can stop right there and get everything we need to spend a week. Food, beverages, ice, toiletries, basic hardware, everything that'd be a hassle to bring from far away. Every time we're up there, that's our first stop.

I have loved this place since it opened near me. However, the employees are not wearing masks and are allowing customers to wear them under their chins.we have an uptick of the virus Nd these people are being careless.
