“We found Hummer’s Meats online and decided to give them a try. They are not a big store but their selection and prices are very good.We specifically went for Chicken. Their pledge for locally sourced, No Anti-biotics or growth hormones is what attracted us.They also have a wide selection of beef and pork products as well as locally cured bacon, ham and sausages. There beef selection is extensive. They also custom butcher sides and quarters of beef. The store was was busy when we arrived. All the employees had a smile on their face and were eager to help.We purchased a fryer, 2lbs of Boneless thighs along with 2lbs of wings for Super Bowl weekend. On the way out we decided to try their own deep fried Chicken tenders. They were delicious and perfectly cooked. They came with a Bar-B-Que side but, they didn’t need it!There’s plenty of parking and an easy drive to My Joy from Lancaster. Well worth the trip. Will go back for sure.”

“Hey Elaine try asking for chipped lunch meat, having worked in a deli, you can only go so thin, and slice it, only other option is chipped if you like it paper thin.”

“We love this small town, homey store. You walk in to a delicious smelling experience. I literally can go into this little country store and immediately am transported into a magical realm where I want to taste everything. Lots of baked goods to look at smell and contemplate buying. In fairness my children walk out with whoppie pies 95% of the time and by children I mean my 17 and 21 year old children. It invokes the feeling of warmth and home, if my home ever smelled like a delicious bakery, which it doesn't. Sometimes feels a little pricey but there are things that I like to buy here like cheeses, fruits, and baked goods.”

“I wish even 10% of our receivers were as great as this one. This was probably the worst load to load that we've ever encountered--took 3 days to load (and we're a team!), 6 picks, ridiculously inept broker and a labor strike at 2 of the shippers. However, this stop was more than accommodating to help us get the product off our truck. The owner, himself, came back to the shed at 9pm on a Friday night to unload us! Oh, and it took less than an hour to unload. The business is neat, clean and definitely shows pride of ownership. Would definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I first bought from Kegel’s in 1975 for the Rextaurant on King St. Now I am buying for Gypsy Kitchen. Why try somewhere else? Great quality, great service at a great price.”

“Great prices and very clean. Giving 4 stars because one of the times I’ve been here there was a dog in the store lunging and barking at a lot of people me included. I told one of the employees about it and they said since he had a service dog vest they couldn’t do anything (not true if it’s causing a disturbance such as barking and lunging you have every right to ask the person to leave) but overall great store”

“Went for breakfast with Santa over the weekend and had a great time. My kids are 2 and 5 and there were a lot of activities around the farm to keep them busy. Also the staff were very nice, I would recommend visiting here!”

“Prices have been increasing at Aldi, but not to as high of a margin as most other places. Aldi is still one of the most affordable and highest quality places to shop in spite of the inflation that has been affecting the civilian population.”
