I wish I would have found these guys years ago! I'm a contractor. Paperwork and bookkeeping and taxes are not my forte at all. These guys absolutely help me get my business in order and save me thousands of dollars with the IRS. Formed my corporation and made it easy for me to focus on what I'm good at. Forest is easy to get along with, attentive, and communicative. My main point of contact has been Eric and he is also been extremely helpful. I can't say enough good things about this company. I used them as the CPA to my small business for the past couple years. At first they seemed excellent for what I needed. They were affordable and took the time to explain things to me after I expressed I did not have much of an understanding on taxes when it came to my small business. Their communication has always been lack luster and ultimately that is what caused the end of us working together. They told me their goal was to do a monthly call to go over the profit/loss info and to do a general check in, I only ever got 1 or 2 of those calls my entire time with them. In the end I got a letter letting me know they were terminating their services to me. I called in due to being confused as to what happened. On this call I discovered that they felt they were not being paid enough to handle my business needs but not once was this expressed before just ending my services. I told them that this should have been discussed prior to termination. My business has grown and it would make sense that with that growth there would be a price increase to cover the extra work they would be doing. However I was not given that option. If this had been a discussion I would have gladly paid more for the service since they are doing more work for me. The lack of communication here is a problem and this experience has ruined my trust in this company.
