This review is long overdue ... About six years ago, my daughter was shopping at retail stores for a prom dress, finding nothing (affordable) that she liked. A customer overheard us, and suggested that if we were willing to drive out to Skippack, there was a store that could almost definitely help. I looked it up on my phone - we could get there, but we'd arrive about ten minutes before they closed. I called the store, and the owner agreed to stay open late - just for us.We drove out there, and we were not disappointed. At first, I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of merchandise available, but the kind owner spoke with my daughter for a few minutes, disappeared, and returned with three dresses. All three were viable candidates, and my daughter picked one of them. The price she charged for the dress, matching shoes, and a clutch was a mere fraction of what we would have paid for the dress alone at a retail store.This is not a typical store. If you browse by yourself, you may have a very difficult time finding what you're looking for. I would seriously consider making an appointment in advance. But the payoff is huge; the owner knows her stock extremely well, and customers should leverage this.

the woman who seems to run the place is the most interesting woman I have ever met in my life. I didn't know you had to have an appointment to try on dresses and I did not leave disappointed because she is full of Amazing Stories . She's definitely somebody I just might stop into visit just to chat with . I found a few decorative items to buy although my intentions were only for address. Cash only though so I would have left with more. Great time!

The store is a fire hazard. Clothes piled all over and junk everywhere. Not safe for the customers or employees.

I absolutely love this store!!! To start off, Patty (the owner) is an amazing woman that is truly dedicated to helping you find exactly what you're looking for, whether it's a formal gown or a day to day outfit. She truly has great taste, especially for someone that can appreciate the beauty in unique vintage pieces, and gives great suggestions of what best suites each customer. Every time I'm back in town to visit my parents I make it a point to check out what she has - new stock comes in weekly, keeping you on your toes and always providing a new range of beautiful options. She also has some very unique knick knacks ranging from salt and pepper shakers to beautiful plates and decor. Her store is a must see for anyone looking for a unique addition to their wardrobe!

I thought I accidentally showed up in the set of American Horror Story!!! There was nothing normal about this entire experience, it was just super creepy! Crowded chaos is the only way to describe the decor of this beautiful old house stuffed to the brim with old musty dresses and junk.

My daughter and I had a terrific experience with the owner. We were prom dress shopping. We made an appointment that started right on time. There was plenty of parking. We got not only a prom dress but 2 other dresses. Yes. Her shop is packed to the gills. I think calling it "Beirut" implies the place has destroyed items. All the items including the dresses are very, very High quality. She has true experience on what looks right on her client body type. We will definitely go back for senior prom. We got 3 dresses for less than the cost of a single dress at any dress shop.

I have been coming here for the last 12 years. As a high schooler for prom dresses and now my wedding dress you can honestly just tell her what you want and she has got it for you. She is very good with sizing, tips for alterations, and general advice to make you look your best. She has been doing this for 28 years and it shows. I have recommended her to all my friends and family she has helped make my special moments in life amazing. She knows all her inventory and knows exactly where everything is. There is no browsing endlessly and getting frustrated. She has got you covered just let her do her thing and you will not be disappointed. She books by appointment, but has managed to squeeze me in when needed (though I did call ahead).
