“I broke down on the side of the PA Turnpike in the middle of a snow storm near Somerset, PA. Once I was able to get my car to the Advance Auto Parts the two gentlemen working that evening (Sunday 2/16/25) provided me with the best customer service I have ever experienced. Not only did they help with my purchases, but they also installed all of the parts my car needed, ran diagnostics, and even helped me to save some money. Remember, they did all of this in the middle of a snow storm. True gentlemen that I am forever appreciate of. The two men working that evening deserve raises! Highly satisfied customer.”

“They literally saved our vacation trip when we lost our water pump just before Somerset. Instantly diagnosing the issue, they had the part, found the gasket they didn't have (then had it quickly in hand), then installed it at a more than reasonable price. They were pleasant, honest, and helpful throughout. On top of that, free popcorn in the showroom. We were back on the road in well under two hours from the time we first notice the problem. You can't ask for more!”

“Hydraulic hose is DOUBLE what Herring Napa across town is charging. Get a quote from here and shop around before letting them build you any hydraulic hoses. I couldn’t believe it.
I had to take it to Napa corporate and their regional manager to get them to make a market adjustment for my purchase and they were still $20 higher than Herring Napa. They did make it right with this refund. Hence the 4 stars not 5.
The exact same part #ers exact & same length and manufacturer of the hydraulic hose was $176 less at Herring Napa. It was two hoses. 1/2 at 6’ for a hay wrapper and a 3/8” hose 15’ for an old Haybine we are fixing.
Lesson learned on my part and a public warning to others so they do not have the same trouble.”
“We found ourselves on our way to Pittsburgh with a dying car battery and a car shutting down on the turnpike. We made a hasty exit and desperately tried to find a service station. Before getting to one, we saw NAPA Auto Parts and figured we would see if they at least had a battery. They did, plus came out to help us install it, and gave us a free alternator test as well. We were in and out in 20 minutes and even got to use the remarkably clean bathroom.”

“Hilton P, auto zone was amazing and helped me with minor repairs. I heard a clunk in the engine and assumed it was something serious. He checked my oil and later checking around found out my transmission cap was off and unscrewed and he put it back on and then fixed the splash guard under the engine for feee. Because of him repairs were quick and painless, and good guy that he was he refused a tip when offered saying it was no big deal. Great guy and great buisness.”
“We are driving our son back to school, driving 2 separate cars, and our son got a flat. We got there on a Saturday, off the turnpike an hour before they closed when they had a ton of people ahead of us getting tires. They were kind enough to get us in and stayed later so we could get back on the road to Ohio. Thank you Somerset Walmart Tire Center!!!!”

“I've been using Tri Star Motors in Somerset, PA since 2005. Since that time I have bought 6 or more vehicles. I have all those vehicles serviced at their shop. The service is incomparable to anywhere else I have ever used. The employees are always knowledgeable and friendly. The shop is very clean as well as the waiting area and show room. There are coffee and snacks in the waiting area so you can relax while waiting for your vehicle to be completed. I live 30 minutes away in another town and wouldn't consider buying a car from any other place.”
“Ordered a trans cable for my duramax, realized there was a delay on the part. Not being aware of the delay I was abit worried it might be awhile, so I gave a call an asked. The gentleman that answered information me when the part would arrive to them and when I should expect it. I received the part faster then expected and installed it the same day. Truck is back on the road for $70 cheaper then what gm wanted. Thanks for the help ?”
