About JBS Beef Plant
JBS Beef Plant is a busy and somewhat crowded location that offers overnight bobtail parking, especially for drivers with reefer fuel levels of 3/4 or more. Upon arrival, drivers go through a quick and polite guard shack inspection and then proceed straight to a staging area behind a body shop on Souder Road. The drop-off process involves dropping empty trailers and finding a spot in a dirt trailer lot nearby, which can be tight but manageable. The shipping and receiving offices are located across from the trailer lot, with check-in and bobtail parking close by. Many drivers report that the load is often ready for drop and hook, especially on Sundays or after appointments, making the process smoother. However, some have waited up to 36 hours for a load, citing delays that can be around four hours to get trailers or find suitable drop areas. The trailer lot is small and overcrowded, requiring patience and careful maneuvering. The staff, including guards, shipping personnel, and jockey drivers, are generally friendly and helpful, with some drivers appreciating assistance with trailer positioning. Drivers advise ensuring trailers are washed out, with at least 3/4 tank fuel, and bringing their own pen for paperwork, as these are not provided. Despite the tight space, most find JBS Beef Plant to be a decent stop with manageable delays and friendly staff, especially compared to other meat plants or truck stops.

Friendly staff, but the yard is poorly managed and the tightest I have ever seen.

Just not designed that well. Workers are great, but no reason for trailers to be parked so close they're actually touching
