I came across Classic Alpaca in an ad and decided to try it out. I was not disappointment. I ordered some socks and jackets; they felt like they were made in heaven! I was in awe by the premium quality that they provided. I've never seen anything better. My products came extremely quickly. The customer service was great. I spoke with a very nice man that helped me out with my order. He seemed very invested in giving me the the best experience. I saw another post that said some really negative comments, so I was a bit hesitant in ordering. I don't know what happened in that situation, but it was 3 years ago. I assure you that Classic Alpaca has changed. I strongly recommend ordering products from here. You will not regret it. :)

I feel forced to take the time to comment on the horrible, unprofessional treatment I received from Chris Mchugh at Alpaca Classic. I received a brochure from this company which I flipped through and selected 3 items to order. On June 27th I called to place the small order. Chris hinted about the size of the order and I honestly informed him I didn't think I would be placing a large order. He stated I might change my mind. I agreed. As of August 21st I had not received the items so I decided to call to determine the status. I spoke to an individual named Jordan. He stated they didn't have the purple hat I ordered. That seemed like a poor excuse for not sending the other two items. I had to give him my credit card and contact phone information again. He stated he would send the items that day. I asked if he could estimate a date of delivery. He stated 10-14 days. On September 21st I called to again determine what happened to my order. I spoke to Chris and tried in vain to explain the chain if events. I mentioned the other calls but he was only focused on the dates I was stating. He seemed irritated and said about three times "You don't have to tell me dates". He insisted the order was sent bit when I asked for a tracking number he became defensive and more irritated. He was so busy interrupting me I don't believe I got out a complete sentence. He hung up on me after raising his voice. I called back, he answered and began yelling "if YOU keep interrupting me..." I yelled "YOU are the one interrupting". I just kept yelling "POOR BUSINESS! " and hung up. No apology for not sending it the first time...just blaming me...the customer. Some of his excuses regarding my complaint were: 1. The order was sent to you 7/21. (Funny I spoke to Jordon on August 21st and he was going to send the package that day) 2. We sent the order...we can't help it if someone walked up and took it from your porch. (I have numerous packages delivered and not one has been 'stolen'.) 3. If it wasn't sent it's not my fault...I was in India getting cancer treatment. (Umm...were they sent on 7/21 or not? Were they taken off the porch or not?) 4. We were doing you a favor...it was such a small order and you stated you wouldn't be ordering anything else. (If he didn't want to fill such a SMALL order he should have just said that on June 27th. And how is it a favor when it is not sent.) What he doesn't realize is if I would have received the items and if I liked them I would have worn them and may have taken orders for more. That's good business. I had shown some folks the catalog and 20 individuals were interested in the hats alone. But they wanted to see the items in person. Doesn't need my little bit of business though. Why would a normal business person yell and keep interrupting a customer who is trying to find out what happened to her order? Guilt? Ignorance? Both? AHHH...STEAM RELEASED.

I was starting to work with alpacas and I didn't know where buy wholesale alpaca clothing. I was searching for a little while until I found Classic Alpaca. The first impression I got "Wow, the embroidery was beautiful, these clothes must be from Peru." I recommend Classic Alpaca for Peruvian alpaca clothing, somebody approve my opinion?
