Update on 4/1225: Whoever the district manager is that's responsible for this door should be fired immediately. It's 1:00 p.m. On a Saturday and the store is closed again. This store is notoriously only staffed with one person so every time they have to use the restroom or there's a delivery truck or some reason they can't stop stocking all the shelves to make it to the register, they locked the store and don't even put a sign on the door. Why does DG corporate not hire a District Manager who knows how to run a successful store? The store in Finleyville does the same exact thing.
Original review: This is the WORST Dollar General I have ever been in across the US. The problems with this door have been going on for as long as I've lived here, and that's been 9 years. It went under new management a few years ago and that was allegedly supposed to fix all the problems. It didn't. This store is closed through various points throughout the day, nearly everyday. They always have an excuse. Generally they claim that the store is understaffed and they have to close the door to receive trucks and to go to the bathroom. Yet they don't even leave a sign on the door that they're closed. So you don't know it until you walk up to the door. I have stopped at this door through various points throughout the day over the past 3 weeks and it's been closed every single time. But there aren't even any cars out in the parking lot, so the employee isn't even here. Such a dump and the worst management. Staffing is only half the problem. The shelves are never stocked and always half empty.

This store is consistently closed during business hours. I have noticed they are often closed Saturday when the hours are posted as open, and often times they close early.

Clients can be rude sometimes and isn’t the employees fault since this place have a terrible management! Be kind please 🙌🏻

This place is a mess. Only 1 employee working - every time. They sell expired products. No one wants to work there because they are under staffed and don't pay well. The only positive thing is the distance from my home.

Bad experience. Today second time in 2024 I slipped and fell on unmopped water in front entrance. No safety warning signs. Tiny mat. Employee did not know how to fill out incident report. After leaving THEN she put out warning signs and mat. All pix from my car leaving.

New Management has dramatically improved the cleanliness and appearance of this location. Most items are always in stock, and there are plenty of carts and baskets available. They always have good deals and are happy to help assist you in anyway. The bathroom was clean enough. All in all, there is an enormous improvement in the overall quality of the store.

Pretty good service last time I went.Good snacks w great prices,also love that they have a bunch of cool drink options.Definitely recommend,It was pretty nice but should definitely clean the lot!
