I always love coming here when I am in town visiting my family. They have an excellent selection of items in all their departments. I had forgotten some essentials, but found everything I need here. Good clearance deals to be found all over for members and non-members. Great service at the regular checkout and at self-check from Natale on both of my visits this week.

To put it simply I would just go somewhere else their customer service is not good and they are severely understaffed and not taking the initiative to get more people in there.

We are regular customers at the Southampton, PA Giant since it opened. The staff is usually helpful, and it is ok as a neighborhood market. I pushed the do not recommend option because of the condition of the produce. Much of the produce is old, tired, and browning. Today we could not find a lettuce that was not rotten. The packaged romaine was brown and black. Asparagus has been awful for months. The strawberries are often moldy in the box while sitting on the store shelf. The small packaged cucumbers are often slimy when we get home and open the package. We would give the rest of the store a grade of B, but the produce department a D-.

My best friend was in there today with her son, who happens to be autistic, and he was having a complete sensory overload meltdown. Stares are expected, and while it’s not ok, we understand bc he can be quite loud sometimes so it does draw attention. However, an extremely rude woman bought it upon herself to get in her young sons face, asked what’s wrong with you and told him he needed to be quiet bc he was causing a scene. As if my friend wasn’t anxiety-ridden enough that wretched woman decided to make matters worse upsetting her son and her even more. More was said and she’s a terrible human but the point of this review is how wonderful the staff was. The staff at Giant were there for her, tried to comfort her, tried to deescalate the situation. They stepped in when they saw my friend completely flustered and on the brink of tears, they asked if they could help/assist in any way and just really did an excellent job! So as a fellow ASD Mom and as Kelli’s best friend… Thank You all so much for doing the right thing. Please continue to spread awareness, acceptance and understanding!

The lunch meat department is totally ridiculous. I've been here for 20 minutes and they've waited on 2 people. They should consider putting out chairs for the customers to sit in while they wait . This happened the last 3 times I came here . If your coming for lunch meat be prepared to wait unusually long time . Just pitiful Love the store but this is pushing out the door to another market for my weekly shopping.

If you are looking for a job for your teenager or college student, don't waste your time at this store. Scheduler does not spread out enough hours to employees. Our son was working 7 days a week, 4-8 hrs a day to now maybe 4 hrs a week. Department managers are constantly in petty arguments which makes for uncomfortable environment to work in. Inconsistent and unhealthy work environment. There are much better options for young adults out there.

I generally don’t have any issues with this store. Ever. And had my husband not been the one to venture out in the snow, you would’ve gotten an earful from me over the phone this evening. How dare you cancel my pickup order without calling. My husband didn’t need to drive over there in the snow but he did because we had groceries scheduled and he we didn’t want to be out money for groceries we didn’t pick up because of the weather. So now he gets to go back tomorrow because no one called. Ridiculous!

This is my go-to grocery store. I'm in here once or twice a week.I like this store because it's not super busy, which makes for a pleasant and comfortable shopping experience, especially during a pandemic. But the store gets enough foot traffic (and hence product turnover) that the produce is pretty fresh. I love Giant for many reasons. I love that they don't have a gimmicky pricing plan like ShopRite, and I love that their produce is consistently cheaper and higher-quality than Weis. What I MOST love, though, is their COOKIE BUCKETS! Only $4 for (I think) 18 cookies, freshly made in their bakery. These cookies (chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, sugar, double chocolate) are always moist and fresh, and have a perfectly chewy, melt-in-your mouth consistency. And sometimes this incredible deal goes even lower, to $3! (Wow)!Couple downsides. First, the frozen veggies are a disheveled mess and poorly stocked. They need a better system. It's a headache to find the frozen veggie you're looking for.Secondly, and more pressingly: I've bought reduced meat here five times, and four out of those five times, the meat was bad. (And yes, I either used or froze the meat the day I bought it). They are simply leaving the meat on the shelf for too long. The Giant I used to shop at never had this problem. Very disappointing. Meat Department Manager, please take notice. The store is neat and clean, and the customer service is pretty friendly overall, which I appreciate.

This rating is on the kid that was working the covid cart cleaning area with his mask down. Twice now in 2 different weeks the same kid had his mask completely down with customers walking in and kept it down. Not only that, he was telling people all carts were clean when I saw a few customers bring up their carts and he didn't clean them. I'm sure others would be more than happy to do his job. Such a bad attitude.
