I bought a car from Don Wallence Auto Sales last year. Todd was EXTREMELY helpful and certainly a "no pressure" guy. When I've needed service, Jacob was knowledgeable, thorough and honest. He is exactly the kind of guy you want working on your car. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Thanks guys!!!

I recently purchased an audi from this dealership and was very pleased with my overall experience. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and never made me feel pressured to purchase. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a used car.

I bought my 2012 ford explorer in may so yes I’m late on this review but I still could not be happier. I ran into 2 small issues a few days after buying my car and they fixed it with 0 issues. The customer service was great from start to finish. The car was clean when I got it, and everyone was extremely nice. Highly recommend Todd and his team!

Hi Todd,I welcome your response but I'm unable to reply directly, so I'm editing my original review here. I've addressed your statements below in ******parentheses******. I hope you will accept the validity of mine and others' lower rating reviews rather than dismiss them all defensively and pugnaciously. In doing so, I'm sure you will open your doors to a new outlook, and a possibly a more prosperous business that can increase the likelihood of having a positive impact on this community. Improvement cannot occur in the absence of self-awareness. I doubt you are intentionally selling bad cars, but nonetheless, based on the negative reviews, some are leaving your lot and this is a problem you can affect. My condolences to the loss of the old timer.****Matthew,I always respond to customer ...The repair should be approximately $100.00.******(The cost to replace the actuator was in excess of $700 and took putting the car in the shop for 2 days. Please reread my original comment and you'll see that you did in fact replace the sensor, which was a simple and effortless task, but this did not solve the check engine light. You say I could have come back, and I did, where I was discouraged from pursuing the issue as I was told it would require breaking down the engine block (which was a disingenuous claim in the end), could cause additional problems, all the while having to deal with a rude and caustic business representative. You understand how this didn't engender confidence or a desire to maintain a relationship? Furthermore, it had constituted consecutive weeks of visiting your shop and I was exhausted by the serious disruption it had caused to my job and personal life. It was evident to me that I should simply move on to seek a more streamlined solution.)******Since I can not get the ... not optimal. ******(Absolutely not. I brought only the most polite and gentlemanly disposition, even in the face of irate and rude behavior. I wouldn't dare to treat a stranger with such disrespect.)******Working with him for 36 years I have not seen him turn down a free low cost repair for a customer.******(He didn't turn me down (see above), to be fair. He just misrepresented the work that was needed in a successful attempt to discourage my usage of company time and resources.)******Furthermore, you mention various repairs over the last 4 years. I am assuming they were not expensive ... ******(You assume incorrectly, and I said within the first 1.5yrs of owning, not 4yrs. I didn't feel the need to list them in my original comment as it seemed out of scope for the point I was trying to get across to the readers of the reviews. But here you go off the top of my head (not exhaustive), a list of repairs in addition to the actuator :1. Wheel hub assembly and bearings (drivers&passenger, $1k)2. Cracked transmission fluid lines replaced3. Fuel tank level sensor4. Gas tank replacement (2400$) due to leak5.Tie rods6.Shocks7.Driver's side window motor8.Shift linkage & gear knob linkage replacement)******He merely suggested an extended warranty purchase because we sell the 3 and 6 month ones for dealer cost.... ******(Perhaps naively, I expected the vehicle was in great shape and wouldn't have any significant issues in the 3-6 months after purchase. I guess you can say I simply trusted you, and also couldn't afford any extras so I took the chance that the 3 month would suffice, but even then, pursuing a fix in the first 3 months was met with hostility.)****** Even so we would have repaired a low cost issue for free. Four years ... vehicles here for over 47 years with a very high satisfaction rate. ******(Yes 4yrs had passed, but it was abundantly clear within months of purchase that dealing with Don Wallence would only cost me more hardship, time out of work chasing these issues, without a vehicle, and that I was best seeking an alternative solution elsewhere).****** Possibly your situation could have been handled...Todd Wallence

I purchased a 2014 Kia Soul about April 2023, I don't drive it a lot only on weekends and sometimes at night. One week nothing but problems replaced 3 batteries ( The Warranty nobody ever will take car , horrible, my brother has a car lot in the Poconos and would never treat customer service like I was. They only care about being paid for sale.Think twice and read the warranty that nobody honors, My warranty is expired in 10 days so I'm going to call financial company and tell them take it .Never again will I shop there !!

We just bought a 2010 Nissan Frontier from Dealer Don Wallence Auto Sales. We couldn’t be happier with the truck. Our whole experience was great. We were greeted almost immediately. We were able to test drive the truck. Everyone there was very nice. They work together as a team.

I just bought a car from here a few weeks ago and after not even a whole week the engine light came on, not ONLY did it turn on, it starts flashing, which I googled it and it said pull over immediately . And the engine sounded good for the first few days but then the car will not stop shaking to an insane amount and sounds like the car is literally gonna explode. Not only was there still a bunch of stuff in the glove box, dirt in the seats, burn marks, and the horrible smell, but I was lenient because it was a used car. I got it with the gas tank empty. The key battery’s almost dead.

I bought a car here and within a month and a half the car breaks down and needs the entire engine replaced. I was sold this vehicle under the pretense from Don Wallence that everything was in clean working order.

Too expensive, unaccommodating on pricing, and, an overall feeling of being hustled. Felt as if I was looking to buy a car in Kensington.

I bought a Dodge Dart from them in the end of June. Not even 24 hours after getting the car the service transmission light came on and it stalled out along the highway. I called them and Tami said she would talk to the mechanic. I was able to get it started again and got it back to my apartment. They came to pick it up. They took it back to there shop and hooked it up and Tami replied as followed " The car code came up for a torque converter. We have it down the street at Aamco." keep in mind they didn't even tell me till I asked how late they were open that they even took it to Aamco. Or even ask if that was okay. I asked how much it was going to cost and then I received the following " When we ran it on the Modus it was in history code which means it is not present any more but did occur on you. So we feel it is intermittent but will come back on you therefor it will be fixed at no cost to you. Thank you for your cooperation. Rest assured we will honor it for you." then after that once Aamco was open I called them to see what was going on and they said they had to wait for the warranty company (I bought whatever warranty you get when you get a car) and they couldn't do anything until then. They said they called the warranty company but it takes time. I called the warranty company and they said no one called about the car. I then ask Tami what was going on and she said that she would call the warranty company. Two hours later I reach out again and she didn't get the chance to call the company. Between Tami and Aamco telling me two different things I decided to take the car back into my care. I told them that they said they would take care of it at no cost to me in which she replied " As far as the thread saying we would take care of the car that is only when it was under my care or one of my subcontractors that I use. At the time of writing that, the car was in our possession. " so now she tried backtracking and made stipulations to it that it had to be taken care of by one of her "subcontractors". I asked them to show me all the records that were on the car and the only thing they had was one paper that had initials on it and said everything was fine. I had the dealership that I took it to run the same test and to look at the history of it since they bought the car on the 15th of June and it showed it wasn't the first time it happened. Infact it happened before they sold me the car. Extremely shady. I should have paid more attention to the reviews but thought I'd give them a chance. I wouldn't recommend these guys at all. I'm sure they'll write back saying this and that but I have the records backing up everything I said. Unfortunately, now I have to waste time and take these guys to court.

Can say enough great things about Don Wallence auto sales.Todd and Tammy went above and beyond helping me get into a vehicle I can afford while my credit is "in transition". They not only found me a finance company that would work with my credit but they also added a year warranty and gap at very affordable rates! I probably would not be driving today if it was not for this great run family business.*UPDATE* Unfortunately the entire exhaust system was rusted out $1300 to replace (not covered under warranty) the undercarriage was literally painted with black spray paint to cover other rust(Verified by two separate mechanics) .While I found other items that were wrong with the car after I bought it (Do yourself a favor take the car to a mechanic prior to buying if they wont let you dont buy.) Don Wallence did replace the cabin filter and hub/wheel bearing on one tire for me at no charge. Unfortunately they didn't replace the rusted out backing plates so now I have to get the hub/wheel bearing replaced again if I want to replace the backing plates which are still making the noise I asked them to fix when they replaced the hub/wheel bearing. Also the power steering lines went before I even made a second payment on the car hence the reason I was forced to replace the rusted out exhaust system they could not put it back on once they took it off.At least the $1600 warranty I paid for came into play, but with the $100 deductible I'm still in the red there.
