Kennie's Markets is a small town grocery store located between Gettysburg and Spring Grove. It offers a range of products, including fresh baked goods and a hot bar, making it a convenient choice for quick, casual shopping. The store is clean and well-maintained, with friendly and professional staff providing a positive shopping experience. It features a decent-sized beer and wine section, and on Fridays, customers can find marked-down deals and special coupons, although shelves may not always be fully stocked during these sales. The store's prices are higher compared to larger chains, which can be a concern for those doing regular grocery shopping. Service can be slow at times, especially when only one or two checkout lanes are open, leading to long lines, especially for older shoppers. The store’s fried chicken is praised for being good, and the overall environment is positive, with a clean appearance and professional staff. However, the store's installation of self-checkout stations without cash options has raised some concerns, as additional fees are passed onto customers. Overall, Kennie's Markets is a clean and friendly store suitable for quick errands and fresh items.
Great supermarket with an interesting range of own brand products and refreshingly different from the big name stores. Love the deli counters and selection of desserts. As other reviewers have said it is a little bit pricey for some items but as it is a smaller concern that's only to be expected.

The young girl who waited on me tonight named Jordyn was amazing. Very friendly and you can tell she's a sweet person. She deserved some recognition!

Prices are higher than Giant and Weis that are 20 to 30 minutes away by car. But they are the only supermarket in this area.
