Several years ago she made me a denim skirt from 2 old pairs of jeans! It is better than one you could buy in an expensive boutique.All of this and she and her staff are the nicest people! “Royal cleaners is my go-to for alterations in Doylestown. The staff is so friendly and down to earth. They are organized and professional. I am picky about alterations - I have years of experience, and typically do my own. I understand how clothing should fit on the body, and fortunately, so do they. A woman, who I believe may be the owner, even mentioned that the original hem was uneven - and that they would make sure it laid perfectly straight - and it did! They also worked with my timeline - I had a limited time frame to get my dress fitted and hemmed. Great experience!”

“If you go early 7ish on the weekend, there's plenty of washers & dryers available. The attendants are friendly & the TVs are always on. There's also a vending machine in the back, & a Family Dollar up the street of you need the bigger bottles of detergent.”

I needed someone I could trust to have it done right and I was hoping it wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. The seamstress at Sumneytown Cleaners was so nice! 20+ years of experience, beautiful clean shop, private area to change, calm and reassuring. She saw me immediately, evaluated the dress & marked the hem, brought over a calendar for me to show her exactly what day I needed it by. 1 & 1/2 weeks later I had a perfectly fitting gown to dance in. “Great service with new owners. Turn around time is quick- usually about 2-3 days but if you're in a pinch and can bring it ASAP in the morning, they can get it done by the end of the evening. AWESOME tailoring and alterations- have brought bridesmaid dresses and long formal gowns that have been fitted perfectly. They do leather/suede like UGGs and jackets/coats- they do not come out looking brand new bc well duh, leather/suede wears as it normally does. But def comes out cleaner and refreshed than before. My UGGs had salt stains from the winter that were cleaned off. Honestly saved me from throwing out and buying a new pair. I've also brought tablecloths, napkins, sheets, comforters- all cleaned with no harsh smells. The older lady doesn't speak the best English but the middle aged lady (I think is the new owner) is super sweet, honest, and realistic about expectations. Recommend to anyone in the area!”

“This cleaners really is super! I had a cherished dress that was still stained after a previous attempt at a different cleaners, so I had nearly given up hope, but the wonderful lady here made the stain disappear like magic! I'm so thankful I tried again. My dress looks good as new! She also saved a sweatshirt that I overused some stain removal on, which caused some black dye to leech into the white fabric. Despite the black and white pattern, she still got it perfectly restored. I hope I don't stain anything else soon, but if I do, I know where to go!”
