I stock up. And I enjoy saving money.Very good service, pleasant people. They always offer to help me carry the cases to my car.My co workers and I have been going to Gywnedd Beverage on and off for 30 years. And I’ve never heard anything bad about them.This is the kind of local business that i want to support.The fact that they lack a big fancy store front on a better piece of real estate is enormously unimportant to me. “Not sure who runs the checkout but they are always super knowledgeable and always thank me for my business. When they say thank you, I can feel its real. I appreciate that as a biz owner. The cigar selection is the best in a 500 mile radius. Some really great upper end cigars like Opus, Padron, etc. Everything is fresh. Never stale, very fresh! Great seating inside and out if you want to enjoy the cigar at the store.”

“I stopped at the Pipe Rack during a work trip last summer. I was pleasantly surprised to find a great selection of hard to find or otherwise sold out pipe tobacco, like Carolina Red Flake, and at good prices. Dave was wonderfully accommodating and knowledgeable, particularly with recommending new (to me) tobaccos. He introduced me to the world of Mac Baren. I look forward to stopping here on my next trip to Philly!”

“I attended the premiere of the outdoor grilling area, making friends with fellow cigar patrons. Simultaneously, there was two events indoors, Fernandez cigar promotion and sampling of spirits by Mermaid, hosted by the very accommodating Laura. I was assisted in my selections inside the walk-in humidor by Scott Atkinson, who posts very descriptive analysis of each spotlighted cigar on the company's Facebook page. I departed in a very blissful mood, clutching my purchased and complimentary cigars and liquors, happy to have made new friends and rekindled my friendship with the most affable and highly motivated owner of this chain of 19 fine establishments, Mr. Arthur Toll. A day very well spent. Highly recommended !!!”
“Location, selection and employees are excellent. The ONLY downside of this place are some of the prices compared to competition. That said, I'd rather spend a couple extra bucks here than buy elsewhere. If you buy any kind of tobacco more than once, you should be going here.”

“Love this store. Love the giant incense. Still 50¢ea. & they burn for like 3 hours. Always a good selection of bic lighters, all the supplies you could need for a Zippo, nice rolling trays and cigarette cases, and lots of supplies for smoking in public where there's no smoking area: ashtrays on keychains and I like the little clip-ons that kinda look like pens but save a half-smoked cigarette. They're perfect for waiting for a bus or an uber; when it pulls up, you just drop your lit cigarette in it and close the lid and it goes out on its own, no missing your ride while you try to flick the cherry off the cigarette. And no stinking up your bag or pocket or worse yet, the rest of your pack with a half-smoked cigarette. Their cigarette prices were good last time I bought them there, but it's been over a year since I've done that. There's a little bodega nearby that sells them dirt cheap now, so no need to hike all the way out to Rockledge for that. But this place has every smoking related supply you could want. Stuff for cigars and pipes, too, I believe, though I have no use for any of that.”

“I have been to this cigar shop a handful of times and each time it feels like a treat to myself. This is due to the very large selection with some great boutique brands who produce sticks that prance on the pallet like a Nicaraguan ballroom dancer. Staff is always knowledgeable and do not descend on you like a hawk (like some shops) as you explore their humidor. Oh how I hate that! Just a simple “let me know if I can be of assistance” is just fine. They usual compliment my selections at the register letting me know that they know that I know what I am supposed to know. You know?! Today I chose Ghost Pepper by Viaje (which will put some gray hair on your chest) and the HVC Hot Cake which tastes like magic. My most recent visit I was heading over to use the house cutter and the staff member offered me his own and a light. Perfection! This gesture means so much to us cigar guys and gals. I will continue to patronize this establishment and exhale the aroma of a satisfied customer all over this review. Service is always fast & polite, but make sure you know exactly what you’re looking for, as the staff isn’t real knowledgeable about the glass products they carry. This is still my go-to shop, cause they’re always quick & friendly, they’ve got a pretty decent selection, and most importantly, their prices are really reasonable!”
“Best humidor in glenside, and the only walk in. The other humidors in town don't seem to be kept at a proper humidity, I genially find that I need to keep my cigars in my humidor for weeks to get them back to condition.Not here! Amazing selection, rest to smoke, and great prices!”

“There's so many smoke shops in this immediate area and after trying them all, this shop is the best of the bunch. Great selection across the board and all their glass products are actual Glass and not cheap platic or fake Pyrex. Staff is awesome too. The owner and staff are super cool and work with you. They don't try to scam or push anything on you. Same, fair, and consistent prices each time. Unless you're looking for something super high-end or very niche, Abington smoke shop is the spot.”

“They have a point system where every $250 you spend they throw you a bottle of juice. One of the workers, younger dude with a beard, acts like he's doing you a favor for waiting on you. Doesn't want to answer questions, neg energy emits1from his pours. They do offer a Military discount of 10% which is always appreciated as many businesses seem to have forgotten that freedom is not free. The owner is a very nice gentleman, takes his time, explains things in detail. But it's a Vape shop.”
