Citgo is a quaint, nostalgic store inside a house, offering a classic Pennsylvania experience. It is a small community store with a cafe, deli, and baked goods. The staff are the friendliest folks on earth, consistently pleasant, helpful, and upbeat. They offer hot and cold sandwiches made to order, with absolutely great subs that are delicious and overloaded with good ingredients. The deli case is stocked with items that appear homemade, including sides like potato and macaroni salads. The store also features a huge selection of drinks, prepackaged items, local favorites, and gift items. It is a bit pricey, but convenient for essentials. Note that you cannot pay at the pump with a card.
My daughter got a flat tire, stuck in that parking lot with two little ones on a very cold day. They were so pleasant and understanding while we worked on getting her tire fixed. Just wished they carried the tire plug kit for those stuck in that area.

We stop here for gas and snacks when riding at Bald Eagle state forest. The staff is friendly and helpful.
