UPDATE to my original review below:..spoke to the manager & he was very nice & apologetic got me out sooner than the extra 40 minutes that they had estimated & he gave me a discount….Whoever is in americas best scheduling dept count your daysDO NOT COME HERE! My appointment was at 3:30 wasnt called back until 4:20 the exam was about 5 mins & now I’m being told to go wait again for the doctor none of the employees can answer any questions when I inquired about how long it would be she said there’s customers in front of you, you have to wait..wow! I made an APPOINTMENT it’s pushing an hour later & thats all they can say this is my first & last time at americas best I’ve never had this experience at vision works or any other place

Where do I start, from the time I walked in almost the entire Sunday staff were either playing on their phones eating or talking amongst each other. I waited about ten minutes or more for someone to ask me why I was there. I did everything I needed to do with the Dr. then had to wait another 20 minutes for someone to actually acknowledge me to see what I needed to do to finalize my order. The only person that had any respect for the customers was Michelle in the Contacts dept. then I had to go back to see another Dr. who was absolutely horrible never even explained that I needed to reorder my trial contacts in other script. Instead he put in my folder a final script order but never sent it out. Michelle is the only one that seems to be able to help and knows what she is doing.

Horrible experience! When I can there for glasses this woman was rudy and I got RACIST energy from the way she was acting towards me. "The worker with the blonde hair and glasses Springfield pa location"

Americas Worst!! Terrible experience, unfortunately. On August 30, 2023 i had an appointment. When i got home i read my prescription and it was not my prescription. It was another persons prescription attached with her address and other personal information. I called that night and they told me they would send out my correct prescription. It arrived in The mail five days later. It was my prescription from 2022. My prescription had changed since then. This was the reason i needed a new exam. I called that day. They told me someone would call me back. After hours later the manager. Was unapologetic and said, “Yea yours script wasn’t processed that day. It will be at the counter waiting on you”. Terrible service. She neglected to address the fact that two of her employees dropped the ball by showing incompetence. She showed she could care less that i had been inconvenienced several times due to their mistake. Time is so invaluable. After i get my correct prescription, i will never patronize them again. I’ll make sure to deter anyone from dealing with an unprofessional HIPPA violating establishment. What a shame.

Affordable plans for non insured individuals. Reserve at least an hour, not including the time to shop for glasses. Always a friendly staff.

I like it here. The receptionist was beyond kind, as well as the technician who took care of helping me find glasses. She was very fun, and easy to talk to. Although the wait for my appointment was a little longer than I expected, my glasses are the right prescription.

Vanity & Stephanie were a huge help and sooo kind!!!!!! from the moment I walked in Vanity was on her game ready to help how she could & they were both super welcoming and reminded me why I always use americas best!!!

My daughters received their eye examinations on 12/29/2022. At that time, I already paid for the extra services not covered by my insurance company. In June 2023, I received billings from America’s Best indicating that payments were not received from my insurance company. I’ve called my insurance company and was told that the nonpayment was due to unclear claims. My insurance company contacted the branch that provided the services as well. Since then, I received two separate payments request from America’s Best. This is frustrating. Why couldn’t America’s Best work with my insurance company to recover their outstanding balances rather than have me paying for them?

On June 6, 2023, I went for an eye exam and to take advantage of their two pair + exam price. After about three weeks, I went over to pick up the finished glasses. When I tried on a pair, I said, "Whoa, the right lens makes things look blurry/out of focus." The staff person I delt with was sympathetic about this problem and set up a follow up appointment to find out the problem. When I returned today for the appointment, the staff were excellent in the way they took care of this new appointment. I felt like I was givien VIP treatment and got to see the optometrist almost immediately. Dr. Pasquarelli couldn't have been nicer or more understanding when he redid the exam. He found a slight discrepancy in my prescription this time which was corrected. I am confident that when the new glasses are ready, everything will be perfect as this time. Mistakes are made but it's how you're treated to get the mistake rectified that counts. Five stars to America's Best!

If I could give a 0 star rating to the Springfield location I absolutely would . SCAMMERS!! First off , they never told me they didn’t take my insurance until after all is said and done and I had to pay completely out of pocket. Worst customer service I’ve ever received! I tried raising many concerns of mine to the doctor and all I got was a “mhm” “mhm” anytime I said anything. Had zero sense of professionalism at all. He didn’t explain anything to me . None of my questions were answered . They “fitted” me for contacts that are absolutely horrible . This place is a scam! I left utterly frustrated and angry being that I wasted my money to not have my questions answered , to be ignored , to be told that my vision hasn’t changed even though what I’m currently using has my vision blurry and causing me migraines , and to be given trash contacts . Everything was rushed so I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t even do the exam right. Don’t waste your time coming to this place save your time and money and go else where !

Incredibly unprofessional and disorganized. Staff is too busy talking amongst themselves to actually give patients clear and concise information.
