Everyone was very professional from Brett in the store, Danny coming out to measure and the team who came out to remove and the next team who installed. It was all done quickly and at my convenience. Several months ago I decided to get carpeting for the second time through Costco Montgomeryville Pa. I figured the this would be a good experience since 4 yrs. ago I purchased this way with no problems.
Well, needless to say this turned out to be a very unpleasant , disastrous experience. The " best crew" nicked walls, window sills, and door frames while moving furniture and chipped baseboard woodwork installing the carpet. All of the rooms to be carpeted were Professionally painted several weeks prior.
Carpet Fair was contacted, pictures were taken, and an estimate for repairs from my Professional painter was obtained. I was then told that the repairs were only to be made by the painter Carpet Fair provided.
I then contacted Costco Corporate and after many disagreed conversations, I had to use their painter. I was really "trapped"!
The painter came an hour late, vehicle trouble, but did call "5 minutes before his scheduled time"! I provided the blue painters tape and even the hair dryer for drying the spackle. He was done in 2 hours, which included several trips to Home Depot and Lowes and included his lunch break. This guy and his helper were far from professional.
After being a loyal customer of Costco from the day Montgomeryville opened, I was truly disappointed of this outcome.
I will never recommend Carpet Fair or contract a vendor from Costco again.

We recently had our carpets replaced by Carpet Fair and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. From the ease of scheduling, to the pleasant employees and the hardworking guys that did the installation. They were on time, professional and the quality of their work was top notch. Wow! The salesperson worked to find us just the right carpet for our needs and our budget. No pressure. Measurements were scheduled promptly. Installation was quick and professional. From the sale to the install, we never got the impression this was all about the money. Carpet Fair is about service and customer satisfaction! We love our new room. My experience with Carpet Fair was awesome . Brett was very knowledgeable and understood our needs. His explanation of the process was excellent. Dan came to measure. He was accurate and very professional. Mark was very understanding with scheduling and provided excellent customer service. The actual carpet install team was like a well oiled machine. They got to work immediately and finished in a timely manner. When all is said and done, my new carpeting looks amazing. I could not have asked for a better experience. Many thanks to the whole team.

I had carpet and a vinyl floor in my kitchen installed, the men were very loud and played loud music most of the time. When doing the kitchen floor they moved the dishwasher to put the floor partially under the dishwasher. In doing that they moved the dishwasher and the screw that holds the dishwasher to the counter was moved and in doing so cracked the counter top and the screw is now scaring the top of the dishwasher handle. I called and was told to send pictures and they would talk to the installers and get back to me. Well, it has been weeks since the pictures have been sent and no response from Joe at Carpet Fair.No customer service at all.Tuesday 10/31Well the men came today and did the best they could to repair the damage. The crack in the counter top was filled in and they replaced the screw that was bent with a smaller one, and touched up the top of the handle of the dishwasher. They were very nice especially Sam. So sorry for the first review but I wasfrustrated at the time waiting for a solution to this problem.Ann Ferguson

I just had my kitchen floor replaced by Carpet Fair. From the selection process to the installation, it was such an excellent experience. The salesmen were very knowledgeable about their products. The 2 men who installed the flooring were true professionals. They were on time, efficient and clean. If you're in the market for flooring, I definitely recommend you visit them in Springfield.
