The crew here is amazing! Helped me figure out what I needed and got everything to us in 24 hours. My son started bass lessons tonight, and is excited to learn. I wouldn't ever go anywhere else for music needs. They have a very large instrument collection in store & online, not to mention all the accessories you could ever imagine or need. Every one working here is so helpful, knowledgeable and nice. I also spoke to Tim on the 800# and he guided me through the website and what I had asked for and what I needed. Made it a special Christmas, thanks to everyone at Georges Music!

I used to go to the George's store in West Palm Beach, FL when I lived there and thought it was a great, unique experience, especially for a big box type store. I live in Philly now and was pleasantly surprised to get the same level of great service at this store. Employees are helpful, supportive and never pushy. Great store!

Felt compelled to leave this lengthy story/review after the amazing service I received not once, but twice in the short timeframe I went to George’s music. I’ve always wanted to learn guitar and while I’ve had several different guitars in my life, I’ve never really committed to playing and learning, and then I would sell them shortly after. Now that I’m a bit older, I wanted to really get back into it and force myself to try it at least 10 minutes a night. I knew I needed a guitar so of course I went to George’s because I live right around the corner. Associates George and Chris were so helpful in getting me an acoustic/electric guitar that caught my eye, which was also a very reasonable price. They were very knowledgeable but they were also very humble in knowing that I had no idea what I was talking about while looking. I thought for sure I would encounter some smugness from the staff because I had zero idea of any thing guitar related, but I was treated courteously and everyone was very friendly there. George had mentioned that perhaps I would be interested in an electric guitar as they are more versatile and a little easier to learn on than the acoustic, but I was hell-bent on walking out with this beautiful blue acoustic guitar. Fast forward two days, I should’ve taken George’s advice, because after many other people told me the same thing regarding the electrics, I was now realizing I should have gotten an electric guitar instead. Why the long story you ask? Because when I went back with the new guitar and case that I had just bought, I met another associate, Austin, who didn’t hesitate to find me an electric guitar in the similar price range I wanted to spend and a different case that was more suited to the electric guitar plus an amp!! On top of all that I ended up getting 20 extra dollars back on my card for the price difference. I got an amazing value and the same great service even after I admitted to them that I should’ve listened to their advice to begin with. Do yourself a favor and go to George’s music, if, for no other reason, you’re going to get honest and true people who genuinely care about your needs and preferences. George, Austin, and Chris, thank you so much for helping a newbie like me get passionate about playing!

Austin helped me today with all the questions I had about some of my existing gear! Not only was he helpful he was very cheery which made my experience that much better! I contacted George’s via email about purchasing a new guitar. I had a lot of questions, and Tim went above and beyond to make sure I had all the information I needed to make the decision. He coordinated a pickup for me when I was driving through Philly on my way from New England to Virginia.The staff at the store were very friendly and helpful. The guitar and case were prepped and ready for me when I arrived. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend these guys.

Bought my son's first guitar here and the crew at George's Music were absolutely amazing in helping each step along the way. Austin and Chris were super knowledgeable and so patient with my son in making sure he had exactly what he needed. We are so excited to continue lessons here and would recommend George's to anyone who is looking to dive in to the world of instruments and music. Thank you!!

The staff were so helpful and fixed my son's trumpet valve while I waited. I'm not experienced with the instrument, but they were able to see where the problem was and took care of it right away. It made my son happy to have it back so soon.

This is an updated review of George's Music in Springfield, PA. If you think one incident was bad, read further for more.I am a long time customer and I have had good experiences until this past weekend (12 August 2023) when I called to order something specific. George Lanchoney (not the owner) answered the phone and had the audacity to question if I knew what I wanted and for what purpose. I said that my instructor suggested that I purchase the item. I then said that I knew George's Music does not have it in stock, so I need to order it. Again, George was rude and asked me how did I know that it was not in stock. "I looked online," I replied. At this point I became very angry and I almost told George off. I called back that day and Doug knew exactly what I wanted. Later, when I went to the store Doug took care of my order. Another manager, Bill, tried to make excuses for George's behavior, but I suggested to Bill what I really thought.An update: On 18 August 2023 I picked up the specific item from George's Music. That specific product is the Zoom R12, a multitrack recorder. Wayne noticed on the box that it has a touch screen. "Do you know how to use a touch screen," he asked me. I pulled out my iPhone. "No, that's different," he said. Really, Wayne? Really?If you have not noticed a pattern in George's, Bill's, and Wayne's approach to me, I will point it out now. I wrote above that I told Bill what I really thought about George's behavior. It becomes apparent that if I were a man, I would be treated differently by these three. And, it becomes particularly more concerning when a long time customer requests to order a very specific item, the Zoom R12 recorder, and I am told that I may not know about what I am ordering.These experiences have made me consider whether I should continue my business at this company. It is unfortunate that these three have tainted my opinion and will affect my good relationship with the other staff. Mr. Hines, you need to speak to your employees because you do not want to lose a customer like me.

Had a great experience coming to this shop, the people there were friendly and really patient. Definitely a great place to visit if your a person with no previous experience thinking of playing a new instrument.

Chris helped me very much. I had a major issues with my guitar that could have taken multiple weeks to fix and a lot of money. He fixed it on the spot and was insanely sweet. Highly reccomend!!
