I went to this location earlier today and there was a bit of a wait but that isn't what I am here to talk about. As I was checking in on the tablet, I saw a house centipede crawling across the wall. Hopefully seeing this review will push this LabCorp location to get an exterminator in there to and exterminate any creepy crawlers that exist. I do understand that it's common for pests to come inside public places bit it can really creep patients out, so I thought I'd bring some attention to this issue.

I will say I saw the reviews and was worried about the experience with taking my kids. Thankfully my experiences (twice) were good. Sometimes the front desk staff may seem curt but they also seem busy. I can’t say I have gone and watched them sit at the desk doing nothing like all the other doctor offices I have been to. They are busy and focused so I kinda get it. The staff drawing the blood, hands down best experiences we have had, for both kids. And the staff at the desk have WILLINGLY jumped on to help! One wiggled a little but no screaming. The other shouted and then stopped, watched and even sat back down like she was ready for another shot. I told her we were all done or was she waiting for another shot she said waiting for another shot. Normally she can be heard many feet away screaming. The staff some how make them feel comfortable and are so sweet to the kids. I’d opt to go there for blood every time they needed it if I could. I love that they also praise them for doing a good job. Id recommend this location!

These people are careless, and they don't know their tests. I went twice, and they missed the same test twice and some more. Do not go here. Horrible. I even asked two techs to make sure not to miss any tests. I also number the number of tests they should have. I highlighted the tests on the prescription. Yet nothing helped. So not qualified, need retrained or something gotta be done about this. Never go here again. I would give a zero if that was an option. No one wants to go back to the doctor and pay more copays.

I was in for a 3 hr glucose test. So unfortunately this was not a quick visit. However for being stuck for such a long test, I have to say - what a friendly and competent group of women! I have a heavy background in managing business. So while I brought some good reading there are things I can’t help but notice. Not a single bad mood or attitude. One woman who appeared to be a supervisor was attentive and patient to both patients and staff. The lab was really moving along through a decent number of people efficiently. When she had to leave to visit another lab, this location continued to operate smoothly. They really created an environment that was warm and welcoming. There are always going to be tough patients and these ladies were so professional, never a word, not even after someone left. I could have stayed all day. They were just such a pleasure.

Went here for routine labs and the staff was so nice and helpful! I had a mix up with my order and they were both so reassuring and kind. My only regret is that I didn’t get their names to give them the recognition they deserve!I scheduled an appt. online and got right in and out. Would definitely recommend!

Came as a last-minute walk-in for work-related testing. Had several questions, which were walked through until I understood. Was taken within 20 minutes- in & out!

A nightmare every time! I’ve used this location many times, but no more. Even though I always make an appointment, I wait anywhere from 30-90 minutes to get blood drawn. They take walk-in appointments and don’t prioritize patients who had an appointment and/or are fasting. Today they took two walk-in patients who arrived after me and were seen before me, despite me having a fasting appointment.Every single person I’ve interacted with at this location is miserable, rude and unhelpful. They all complain about their jobs and dismiss any concerns from patients.

I arrived at the labcorp at my appropriate appointment time. I signed in and was met by the most ignorant receptionist to work in the medical field. I was told, in the rudest way, that If I didn't have actual paperwork to show and not an email that had all my lab work I needed, that I would not be seen. I feel that poor attitude and work ethic has no place when your constantly dealing with customers. I would definitely not recommend this site on Baltimore pike for any lab work that's needed. At the end of the day I'm the one paying you for any lab work I need done.

Arrived for my appointment time early, did self check in and waited for my name to be called. Once my name was called I met with the woman doing the intakes. First asked my date of birth then asked did I have any paperwork with me. I pulled my phone out and was abruptly told that they can't take orders off cell phones it's against hippa laws. Then I was told "I don't need to be so nasty." Mind you, I have only given this woman my date of birth and not said anything else to this point. Blown away by her accusations, I said, I wasn't being nasty, I was frustrated with myself for - and with that I was cut off by the woman who said, "well you were about to be." Shocked by her insistence that I was going to be nasty I said, "I was not, but now I am." I'm just blown away by such unprofessional behavior. As for the blood i needed to have drawn, the two woman doing the draw were from the media location and worked together well to get what they needed from me. I will not go back to the Springfield location even though it is closer for me.
