Lenscrafters no longer does 1hr glasses. The lab is not even open on Sundays. Their corporate website STILL shows that stores with labs do 1hr glasses in its FAQs, but the store sweeps that away with this excuse or that. They have AAA discount, and they don't even offer it to you. 2 stars, instead of 1, because the staff was friendly, though, and when I actually was able to pick my glasses up, they fit perfectly and without adjustment.

Great place for your eye exam and new glasses.... Prices are very fair.... The optometrist is very knowledge and is great with taking care of all your needs... The selection is very nice with all name brands fairly priced....

Springfield PA location is great. Most of the staff is wonderful and educated in the products they sell. Great with assisting with picking out frames. I came in on Wednesday night, 3/13/24, a little past 5 pm. and Jessie and the 2 Caucasian ladies assisted me. I had my prescription in hand and told one of ladies I was looking to buy glasses and handed her my script, she gave me tray and I walked around picking out frames. After I was done selecting frames, I announced I needed help in deciding which frame was best. They all helped me narrow it to two and waited patiently as I texted my people to vote on which one. After my decision was made, Jessie sat down with me and began helping me with lens options. Jessie is the best. He explained the difference in progressive types and looked at my current pair I was wearing to see what type of progressive lenses they were. I didn't realize there were options... I highly recommend dealing with him ( Jessie) and the two Caucasian women, as these three are the best. The entire process took an hour. Because I am getting premium bifocals, my order will not be processed in-house. I am ok with that as it shouldn't take more than two weeks. I am so glad that lola person was not there, as I have observed in previous visits where I popped in just to browse that she is not user-friendly. It was great to catch them when they were having the buy frames get 50% lenses promotion. I'm so glad I did. Well worth it. So I suggest if you go there to ask for Jessie and allow him to assist you from start to finish. He is amazing! Thanks, Jessie. LC gave that man a raise and a promotion! He deserves it.

LensCrafters: Springfield, Pa (LOLA)The worst experience in my entire life. I purchased two pairs of designer frames from the platform Whatnot and brought them into the store to add prescription lenses. The Assistant Manager, LOLA treated me like a criminal and stated the frames where STOLEN. I was so dismayed by the accusations that I showed receipt of purchase. LOLA went further to state the seller either stole the merchandise or was trafficking stolen merchandise. After feeling compelled to spend over $700 for replacement lenses to somehow vindicate myself. I left the store feeling traumatized, humiliated and embarrassed.LensCrafters your staff person is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone was kind, courteous, and professional. I didn't feel pressured and the selection of glasses were nice. Plus, the eye doctor inside the store was great as were her staff.

I just wanted to take the time to publicly thank Jesse for his amazing work. I called the store reluctantly to see if they would be able to fix my daughter’s glasses as they were being held together with gorilla tape, and Jesse said he would take a look at them and see what he could do. Well, not even 10 minutes later, Jesse came back with her glasses fixed and not to mention at no charge! We will definitely be back to this LensCrafters location all thanks to Jesse and his kindness. Thank you Jesse!

I am recanting my review of this facility as it went from 5 plus stars to -0 stars. As a business owner in the same community as the Lens Crafters in Springfield Pa. I purchased a pair of frames and lens from the facility literally less than 60 days ago. I called to state there is a defect in the molding of the frames and was told I didn't purchase the protection plan so I was up the creek without a paddle. Now mind you the store manager Marie I dealt with at the time of purchase was great. The young lady name Lola was horrendous. I asked if she had another frame of the same in stock and if not please order one in so as they can swap out the lens when I arrive, She stated I would have to come in first etc. Now my request wasn't extreme by any means, so in essence wasting 2 trip and to resolve one issue. Now mind you I cannot be without my optical wear. Lola has no sense of urgency, nor does she know how to resolve a reasonable request. Her response was Marie is not in and she would have to transfer my case to her. What is truly the case. I spent $500.00 on glasses, there is a defect in the frame and no outside influence, please order me in a new frame, call me when they are there, swap out my lens i purchased. If this is a act of congress for this individual Lola , then maybe she should be trained on customer resolution and de-escalation. I will wait for Marie to phone me on 10/05/2023.
