Store was supposed to be open at 10 am.instead of opening one of the workers decide to dancing and have a concert with the gate still down.10:45 as I write this.im never coming back to this store

My daughters had the absolute worst experience at Lids in the Springfield mall today. It was around 4:30 when they arrived and were greeted with a closed gate and told by “Bri “ who later stated she was a “manager” that she was on a break and to return in 30 minutes. 45 minutes later the gate was still closed and they were told they would need to wait even longer for the custom stitching that she had been waiting for since Sunday when they were turned away due to the store being closed before 6:00. Attention corporate headquarters if this is the type of customer service that your store is offering We Wont Be Back. Bri was rude inconsiderate of peoples time and ignorant. Did I mention she was doing all of this while having her hand in her mouth picking her back teeth from lunch I suppose and got mad when we asked her to wash her hands. Hello Monkey Pox, Covid. I wonder if my girls would have been treated this way if they were white like she was. Just saying. Today was her 14th Birthday and all she asked for was a custom Lid. Thanks a lot Bri your service sucks

This store only has the new POS system and I can't return the hat I bought in DE for a refund. Only store credit. This didn't make sense but I don't think the store clerk told me the wrong thing. Can't believe a national retail chain would roll out varied POS systems in their stores but apparently Lids did. Physical retail locations should enhance the customer retail experience and not be a detriment.
