Called them tonight, because my dog got into his medication. They told me best bet would be to call the hotline because I may not have to take him over unfortunately the still needed to be seen. They took him right back. They knew how upset I was, they were professional, they explained everything I would recommend going there in the future

For years we took my boy there for one thing an insulin prescription. They were so uncooperative at his last apt he got his insulin too late and we had to let him go. He was my service cat, he stopped my panic attacks, he would calm me when my heart would race and so many more things. When I asked for a refund on the apt where they did nothing they told me they would call me back and just like with the prescription they can't return a phone call. When you need them most they're not there for you. If you love your best friend don't rely on these people. All we needed from them was a phone call and instead I have a gaping hole where my heart used to be.

Excellent emergency care for beloved pets. My 18 year old cat BARI boy suffered stroke like symptoms on 1/26/24 at 6AM. He was already on Rx for hyperthyroidism and arthritis but was calling out and unable to stand or hold his head up.The entire Staff took charge from: Bring him right in to the gentle, loving exam by Dr Jennifer Graham and every other staff member who tended to him. BARI boy is now at peaceful rest over the rainbow ? bridge.Five ⭐'s isn't enough for this awesome caring animal hospital.Carol Furness, Angie Healy

I can’t thank Dr. Lewis and the whole team enough. They were compassionate, kind, and professional in a devastatingly unexpected time for our family. Your compassion and love for your profession touches many lives, it has touched ours. Thank you so much.

My husband and I had our first Vet visit with our new puppy "Pepper" and WOW what a great experience!! Our Visit was with VMD Abbey Earle and she was just everything that you would want your Veterinarian to be! She had a wonderful personality and handled everything with ease! Dr. Earls Veterinarian's Assistant Gabby was a doll! She was very informative and made us feel welcomed and comfortable! The staff at the front desk were angels, and made us feel like they knew us for years! I would highly recommend this animal hospital to any of my family and friends!Thank you again for giving my family an amazing first Vet appointment experience!!-Warmest Regards,Samantha Higgins

I contacted VCA ER today because my 9 year old kitty was vomiting and seemed to be in discomfort or pain.I am so thankful I did take my kitty there - everyone on the staff was caring, kind and helpful. I knew that my kitty was in good hands.I was given a detailed report and a staff member went over the report with me and answered all of my questions.Just want them to know how much I appreciate the care they provided!

$407 for dewormer visit of a cat they saw only a few months ago. Cat is only a year old and healthy otherwise. It wasn’t an emergency as I called them days ago and they waited 5days to see her. Is that normal? Sad part is I just referred someone here and showed her todays bill. She was horrified.Edit: They asked me to reach out via email to discuss. I did immediately. Still awaiting their response.

Yes need to write another review! I just can't say enough on how they really care for your pet! I had to take my older dog somewhere else in the middle of the night, as the DR here was in emergency surgery. And I could tell the difference right away. This place that I had to go to calledPACE was so expensive! They wanted 3,000 just for my dog to stay over night!!! VCA is a lot cheaper, they call and ask how your pet is doing! Sending a card home when my one dog was fixed! All I can say if you want your animal in the best hands come here. I will never go anywhere else!!!!

$37 to get her nails cut!!! First I know they told me $17 on the phone. I had to drug her up, put the muzzle on and her nails look like dog poop. Some weren’t cut at all and none were filed. She’s the sweetest pit ever she just weights 70lbs, I get it, But for $37 your think they would be more thorough. I’m stuck with them for the next year due to the pet care the swindled me into. I had the money I shouldn’t have listened. I feel this place is all about the $$$$$

I’ve been going to this vet for more than 10 years this is my 2nd set of Dobermans that dr. Smagala has been taken care of although she gets 5 stars from me because she is wonderful however this facility has been all about money I was just there in July for evaluation and to pick up more prescriptions for their flea tick and heart worm medication and they told me I have to get it from chewy since they didn’t carry it no more I assumed they were going to email it to me since I just spent almost 400 per pup during that visit I called them today for the prescriptions and now they are telling me they need to come in for testing to get my prescription another visit that will range more than 200 per pup as of today I will be seeking a new vet office as this one has been making it out to be just about money anymoreOn another note last week my female got cut and at 6pm when I called for an emergency appointment cause she needed stitches they told me they were short staffed and not offering emergency appointments but yet they are an emergency hospital and they turned me away.

BEWARE!!THEY PREY ON EMERGENCY SITUATIONS AND DRAIN YOU OF MONEY!! If you don't have the money they will let your pet die!!This is the worst animal hospital on the planet! I'm a new pet owner so I brought my Boston Terrier puppy to this hospital in an emergency! My puppy had climbed out of the cage and bit a cord and got shocked. I was devastated because the situation was very traumatizing to my puppy and family! They took us to the back and then took my puppy to be evaluated. The Vet returned and the first thing she said was I have a treatment plan for your puppy that needs to be signed! I read the treatment plan and it had a range of $4700 and something over $5000! I was told that I had to pay 50% before they would even touch my puppy. I was willing to pay whatever I needed for them to care for my puppy! I went a few blocks up the street to the Credit Union and withdrew the money. When I returned I paid the deposit and requested to see my puppy. When I went in the back I was TOTALLY ALARMED that they hadn't even started treatment and my puppy was shivering, in distress and Iooked like she was about to die! I asked the tech if they had given her anything for pain or anything! The response was "AS SOON AS YOU SIGN THE TREATMENT PLAN AND PAY THE DEPOSIT I WILL GIVE HER SOMETHING FOR PAIN!" I yelled at her that I had already done that! Please take care of my puppy!" With Gods blessings my puppy made it through and is healing well! Meanwhile they kept her for a little over 24 HRS, took a few X-Rays, gave her some oxygen and kicked her out! When I picked her up the next day I was told that I have to pay another $1550 for a total amount of $4050!! I asked to for a detailed plan of what was actually done for my puppy before I give the $1550 they were requesting and took my puppy home! All I got was a message left on my service from a CHERYL asking for the remainder stating "YOU DEFINITLY OWE THE BALANCE!" Not even a life or death moment will ever make me take my puppy back there again! Im not a Vet but I am a RN and even in the ER we still have to take care of patients without immediate guarantee of payment! This is the saddest place I have ever encountered! They should be shut down!!
