Worst service I have ever received from a Verizon employee at the Springfield PA store at 1 pm. He walked away from the desk and I told me I could find him if I have a question. I had to follow him after I made an appointment! He refused to come back said he couldn’t help us with the task however I wanted to get an upgrade so we left the store without a new phone ! 30 years I have been a customer now I’m leaving so you wonder why people are switching!

I went to this store today to return a Verizon Mobile Internet Gateway.
I was told by the representative that I needed to take the box to a UPS store or a regular Verizon store. This store was Verizon Mobile. I go to UPS they won't except it. The regular Verizon store won't take it. I was told by that representative to take it to a Verizon Mobile store. He explained to me that it's part of Verizon Mobile. It's annoying to be giving the run around because people don't want to be bothered. If you don't want to work, let someone have the job that's willing to do it. So I wasted the day trying to return this device. Verizon quick to charge you for not returning devices, but they don't make it easy. I'll be glad when they go out of business.

The store was busy but I still got excellent service. They were very helpful even after discovering my problem was using the charger incorrectly. I highly recommend this store.

I have been to this store more than I every should have! I should start by saying that Chase was wonderful to work with and very kind, but I have now been back four times to get my phone set up AND its still not correct. The MOD today was very rude and dismissive of me AND Chase when he was asking questions. I wish I could have just walked out, but unfortunately they were doing something with my phone. I just reviewed the 10 receipts I came home with for certain things and they mis-charged and misrepresented fees. Never again! I hate to leave negative reviews, but unfortunately the management in this location lacks professionalism.

Avoid this store! They employe a scammer!
I went in for a phone pickup and to do an upgrade. Worked with a man named Steve (avoid him like the plague) and was told lies from the beginning. First told I wouldn’t trade in a phone not active on a specific line for 60 days, lies, needs to be active on the account for 60 days. Then told i could get the phone for free with a BYOD (hindsight why would a phone be free if bringing in your own device). He then changed OUR ENTIRE PLAN to offset the new cost of the phone not being free and the taxes for the “free” line. I went home and caught it all immediately, called customer service and they also let us know that he gave us the slowest speeds possible, making the phones basically useless off WiFi. This was also after he charged us $40 per phone for a “setup” fee, but didn’t set up a singular device. I spent 3 hours in store the first time, 2 hours with customer service trying to get back to my old plan (they also couldn’t get it back so now I’m going for blood to get my plan back), 2.5 hours at the store at 6 pm-8:30 pm AFTER close and still have to go back tomorrow because NOTHING was fixed and I have to speak to another manager. I’ll be calling, writing letters, emailing, etc every single Verizon manager, FTC, BBB, consumer watch, congressman, to get this fixed. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. I don’t care if I’m made whole again, Steve should not have a job if he’s going to scam for a $12.50 upgrade/activation commission.

I am leaving this review to WARN & CAUTION potential customers about promotional offers at this Verizon location. My family purchased two new cell phones during a promotion that was supposed to include a free iPad and a free Apple Watch. Shortly after receiving our devices, I noticed charges for both the iPad and the watch on my bill.
When I contacted Verizon customer service (611), they were able to correct the tablet promotion, but I was informed that the Apple Watch promotion could not be fixed because the store STAFF had ordered the wrong watch model. As a consumer, I had no way of knowing that the watch I was given did not qualify for the promotion. Unfortunately, by the time I discovered the issue AND after months of speaking with various representatives—it was too late to make any changes.
I accepted the financial loss at the time, but in a more recent conversation with another representative, I was advised that both the store manager and the regional manager should be made aware. The representative explained that staff should be properly trained to ensure they are ordering the correct models tied to promotional codes, so customers are not held financially responsible for staff errors.
This mistake has cost me hundreds of dollars, and the lack of accountability from Verizon—combined with the inability of customer service to correct an error made by in-store staff—is extremely disappointing.
In my view, the store and its management should bear the cost of this mistake, not the customer. I am sharing my experience here and on Verizon in hopes it prevents others from experiencing the same issue.

I’ve been here in the past but I was there this past weekend and Alex gave me exceptional service! He gave me options, quickly resolved my stolen phone situation with being able to walk out with a new one that day, not the 16, but the 15, which the camera is great compared to my Pro Max I was using. I was very relieved and satisfied leaving there, and i’ve been a customer for 26 years, maybe should have got a free phone but hey nothings free in life! I did set up the autopsy to get a $10 disc, and I found out I could get another $10 for a teachers discount as well as my loyalty discount so that helped! Thanks to Alex! Knowledgeable & great customer service!
