Cult like atmosphere. Unreasonable amount of testing for normal cats. Try to make you feel guilty if you can't afford unnecessary testing etc. Misquoted prices and then rude and accusatory during the long process of providing proof to get the overcharges removed from my card. The doctor was rude/condescending to their own employees and me from the moment I showed up with my baby.

10/10, Margaret Siems and the vet techs there take care of their cats. Environment is quiet and calm, unlike other vet offices.

Dr. Siems and her staff provide excellent care to our senior cat. My cat comes home from the vet's office totally unfazed, which has not always been true!

We've been taking our cats to CCCH for the past few years and they have been nothing short of wonderful to them. It's so nice to have an office dedicated to cats, since it can be even more stressful having larger animals present. The doctors and the rest of the staff are very friendly, professional, and helpful with our veterinary needs. I would highly recommend them to cat parents looking for a vet.

Took very good care of my Hiro throughout his dental procedure. Although we were a new/moving away customer, they always did their best to fit us into the schedule so he could get taken care of. Thank you!

Centre County Cat Hospital has been great in taking care of my two cats. They even helped me get their medication compounded. I couldn't recommend them more.

The most thorough and gentle people! Dr. Dail always helps me feel empowered about choices I’m making for my cat, and is an extremely reassuring presence.

Overall nice staff, seems like a well run place. Only reason not 5 stars is that they took a deposit for my cat’s visit but when I went to pay they did not have a record readily available and I would have been charged extra had I not asked questions. Just keep track of what you’ve been charged to avoid extra charges.

Absolutely amazing! My cat got spayed at Center County Cat Hospital a couple of days ago, and they have been so attentive to her every step of the way. My cat stayed overnight after her surgery so they could monitor her, and they made sure to communicate with me on how she was doing. They let me leave her favorite blanket with them so my girl had something comfortable to sleep on. The vet told me I could call for an update anytime, which meant so much to me because I am a little overprotective of my pets. She is now home recovering, and they still called to make sure she is doing okay. They even went out of their way to look over some pictures of her stitches to make sure everything is healing properly. I have FINALLY found the perfect clinic that fully understands how important our animals are to us.

I wish I could give 4.5 stars, but I rounded down to 4 for a few reasons (and will update after future visits to reflect changes!). We got a kitten last summer from Texas (long story) and he had been sick for a long time, constant diarrhea but seemed in good spirits and a vet in Texas had helped get rid of bugs in his ears and eye infections. We figured when we finally got him home to PA, we'd take him to a vet to get him neutered as well as have them check a stool sample and see if we could figure out what was going on. I looked at a few vet options in town but thought the ratings on this one were good and they were taking new clients when a lot of offices were not. So, I called, they said I had to come in for a general checkup for him before they would schedule the neuter so I got that all set up and we came in. They checked him out, gave us a dewormer and medicine for his gut, and I prepaid for the next stool sample and also tried to schedule the neuter appointment. Fast forward a few weeks, the day before his scheduled neuter, I called them to confirm since I hadn't received any sort of reminder and wanted to make sure he was still scheduled. Apparently they have been dealing with a lot of staff turnover and new trainees, so there was a miscommunication and I was NOT scheduled for the neuter, and the vet wasn't even doing neuters that day. So they were thankfully able to squeeze me in the next week and were apologetic about it. No big deal for me, it wasn't a life or death situation! I take him in for the neuter, everything went great, I dropped off the stool sample (prepaid) and right before I left, they asked me if I had prepaid for the sample because they didn't have it in their records that I had. I said yes, but that I would check for the receipt when I got home and email them. I got home, couldn't locate a receipt and honestly could not remember 100% that I had paid, offered to pay over the phone that day so they didn't think I was cheating them. So I did that, and the next day I remembered I could check the bank statement (duh) and was able to locate that, send them a screenshot, and they were also able to track it to their system. They offered to refund me or keep it on my account so I chose a refund. This is an unusual series of events for sure, and I understand having so many new staff at once can be a nightmare and, having worked in a similar business a few years ago, I wanted to be sure I wasn't one of "those" customers. However, there was one employee in particular associated with a lot of those mistakes and I hope they have been able to work on that. My overall experience there was great, Dr. Dail is SO kind and so were the techs helping my kitten. While the payment issues and scheduling issues were a hassle, I will likely return there for feline care when needed.

I love Centre County Cat Hospital!!!! I was never able to find both of my cats a solid veterinarian until I met Dr. Siems. When my kitten was very sick they went out of their way to put her in on a day someone else had canceled and put me at ease over the phone before we were even patients there! I’ve never felt more cared for when we are there and it’s always a welcoming feel. We love Dr. Siems and Dr. Dail & their incredible staff. We cannot wait to continue care with them for years to come. -2 very happy kitties
