We stayed here the evening of January 6, 2024. While driving to NYC, we got hit by a dangerous snow storm on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Trucks were jackknifing on both sides of the highway and cars were stranded everywhere, so it wasn't good. I used Trip Advisor to find a room while my husband drove. The man and woman at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful in getting us some basic toiletries and finding a place for us to eat in State College, PA. The ONLY reason for 4 stars instead of five is that when I called to reserve the room, I notified the customer service person that I was in a terrible storm and needed to get off the phone quickly to help my husband navigate. She did book my room but there was A LOT of unnecessary discussion about joining the Wyndham Rewards program and other irrelevant upselling and information. She was obviously trained to work through the process, but I told her upfront that I was in a treacherous place. Given that, she should have cut to the reservation and let me attend to safety.Safety: It was the middle of a blizzard and they cleared the sidewalks and parking lot constantly.

Great spacious rooms, good amenities. The breakfast host was super nice and let us know when she was gonna start closing up.

I think this is the best value hotel in State College. Very clean, great service, and good breakfast. Cheaper than other comparable options.Nearby activities: There are really nice walking trails nearby

Check in was quick and easy, and front desk employee was friendly. The room and bathroom was clean. They were doing sidewalk work at one of the side entrances which was a little inconvenient having to go to the front door each time. Otherwise a great stay.

Its was a great stay minus the construction but that is out of the hotels control. Bed was a little hard to sleep on for me. Samantha was my hero! Got me a new remote when it stopped working I love to watch my food network and she got me cutlery when my food order forgot she was very presonable. I really appreciated her helping me out.

good place, very delicious, breakfast the only thing that the avitación is very illogical is that you ask yourself that if you want house kipping ñ, it is supposed that as a courtesy of the hotel it must always be kept hygienic at least the bathroom utensils we had to go ask the reception and they Miss, I didn't have anything, plus the water in the shower didn't flow, the tub filled up, a room change was requested and the only response was, let's see if we send someone because I can't change your room anymore. I clarified when they went to check the only thing they did was make one of the two beds and not even the trash was removed, it leaves a lot to be desired for the price there are better ones in the area

I would highly recommend staying at this Days Inn as all the staff I had spoken to were extremely helpful and kind. I spoke to Molly, the general manager of the hotel, about an issue I was having with my stay due to a mistake I had made and she was extremely helpful, kind and understanding in helping me resolve the issue.

My only complaint is that the room had a strong, I guess, paint odor. Otherwise, it was a pleasant

A clean hotel with several amenities, ample parking and above all, an excellent location near restaurants, coffee shops, banks, gas stations and the Penn State university campus.A microwave in the room would be an improvement.I’d recommend to stay and I’ll prefer it again.

We will definitely be staying here again when we need to be in the area. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well taken care of (no funny smells or sticky carpet) The continental breakfast wasn't too bad (they had a make your own waffles set up) and our housekeeper was very nice and accommodating.Rooms: Typical hotel room, nothing over the top or special.Nearby activities: There were plenty of shopping centers, gas stations, and restaurants to keep us entertained.Walkability: We were able to walk to a shopping center, some restaurants and even a small children's museum.

Great service and a nice environment. Very accommodating to our group. however the staff did stay in our room and watch us sleep at night, which was weird but kinda endearing.

Me and my husband booked this spot for the night after taking back a couple non alcoholic beverages. The staff was great about it. The staff stayed in our room the whole night and watched us sleep. Kinda creepy but i enjoyed the company.

Nice, Clean Wyndham in downtown State College. Accepts dogs for $10/dog fee - very reasonable. Enough greenery around facility to walk dogs. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant. Parking at facility. We would stay there again.

If you're look for high amenities this hotel may not be your first choice. However, if you are looking to stay in Downtown State College it it incredibly convenient and should be a first choice. Parking is tough as the Pugh St garage is really you only option for prime parking but it fills up quick.
