J&C Asian Market is the most recent Asian market to open in State College. It is a great addition to the area, packed with a wide selection of anything you could possibly want. This includes prepared foods, ingredients, frozen meats, produce, and snacks. The store has an excellent selection of Filipino and other Southeast Asian foods and ingredients that can't be found anywhere else nearby, filling a need for many. It is super easy to get to. Shoppers will find all the things they regularly need at a good price, including unique meat selections. The market offers fresh wide rice noodles, fresh vegetables like Asian chives, and specialty items like Japanese sweet potatoes. Up front, there are amazing hot buns and fresh fried dumplings in the morning, with flavors including pork and chicken. The store also has delicious steamed bao buns, soup dumplings, and stuffed pancakes. Friendly staff contribute to the wonderful experience. The store is very open, well-labeled, and neat. Shoppers are advised to check expiration dates and note that occasionally some items may not be priced.
Between the market with a great selection of fresh and shelf stable products and Pelicana, im probably shopping their weekly now. Definitely a strong selection amd great pricing.

I will be coming back here! They had all my ingredients I needed to make supper with. Even thought it's 1 and a half away this will be getting added to my good places to go list!

This is actually a nice market with a larger selection than the size of the building depicts. Some items are priced low and some items seem higher priced than normal, so just shop accordingly.
