Shopped here many times as a student, but my best experience was as an alum. Ordered a bunch of shirts for my son for Christmas, and the one I wanted has gone out of stock since I had purchased it. When they notified me, I explained that the out of stock shirt was why I chose to purchase there and the one I wanted most. The staff was able to ship my order out without that shirt so that I would have it in time, and then quickly shipped out the last shirt ASAP as soon as it was available. Awesome customer service! ❤️

Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, and they took forever ( the other guy waited on 4 people) and were the worst ones I've EVER had there. This was my first job at main campus back in 03. I never made bad sandwiches. Guess the store has slacked since the boss retired. Hopefully, next time I'm in there, it will be better.

No sense of business he is rude to his customers. I would not spend another cent with an owner that rude!!! I told him I wouldn’t Shop there anymore and he said I don’t care?

I'm rating Mcclanahan's store one star simply cause when I lived in State College back in 2002 (like 21 years ago) I'd go to get coffee every morning...or almost every morning and the one employee had the snottiest attitude. I worked at Greenwich court apartments which was attached to the store. sometimes I wouldn't even go if I knew that certain employee was working on certain days....cause simply, he's a big a**hole !! And that's just a warning to State College residents today if you don't wanna deal with his attitude !! And of course it's been over 20 years since I left State College so I don't know if he still works there or not, and well if he doesn't then that's good !!!!
