My boyfriend and I went in yesterday because he had a 102.5 fever. They diagnosed him with the flu… then told him he was able to go to work the next day because the “second you take Tamiflu, you are no longer contagious.” Which is not true ?

You can't just walk on even though it says on the window, so I made an appointment for next day. My appointment was made at 330 on my lunch break, and I'm still in the waiting room an hour later.... don't make people make appointments if you're going to make them wait anyway.... and I see this is an ongoing issue from all the other reviews I am reading.

The receptionists were incredibly gracious and the initial nurse/EMT I saw for the intake triage was quick and efficient.The Nurse Practioner I saw was demeaning and admitted to me that she never even looked at my chart. My concerns and questions were brushed aside. As I was one of the last patients, it very much felt she was watching the clock. She never communicated during the exaim and would have left without much converstation if I hadn't insisted on answers. I definitel got the impression that since I didn't want to take all the tests she recommended, she wasn't going help. Afterward I overheard rather snarky comments with a coworker over how she was just denying everyone who thought they knew about infections and antibotics.There was a nurse who had come in to reasses my BP and she again, never really spoke a word and would have left without telling me what it had read, if I hadn't asked.

I wish I could give zero star for this urgent care facility. The people who work here are rude, they have no concern about your issues. We had an appointment scheduled and even with that we waited for 2 hours to see a illiterate doctor who has no knowledge to cures the patient. I explained to the doctor that my child has fever for 2 days and but she didnt have any concerns. I was hundred percent sure that she has ear infection. Since yesterday my child is suffering for ear hurts and I have to take her somewhere else to find the real doctor. DO NOT WASTE your money and time to go to this urgent care. You will regret that! This place is not for people who need urgect care. They look at you as customer not patient!!!!!Update: I called this med ex location this morning and I talked to the doctor and she said I have to bring my kid back and get evaluated and I have to pay again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took my kid to another clinic and she has sever ear infection. This is a shame!

Was scheduled for an appointment at 5:00 p.m. to have my TB test read and a physical done. I arrived at 4:45 and told her I needed to have it read by 5:20 because that is the deadline they gave me. She told me it was a little busy but somebody would come out to read it to ensure it was read by 5:20. I asked again at 5:10 where somebody was and she told me somebody would come out. I then asked again at 5:15 where somebody was and she told me somebody would come out. I said there's only 5 minutes until the deadline I need somebody to please read my arm. I said I didn't mind waiting for my physical but I needed to have the TB test read. Her and her colleagues decided to laugh at me in the back and then have the doctor come out to get me and then he berated me in the back as well. I asked him to stop being sarcastic towards me, he apologized, and then continued to be rude. I left without even having my physical done because I'm not going to be spoken to like that when I did nothing wrong and now feeling embarrassed. Terrible customer service! You should be ashamed of yourselves making people feel like they did something wrong when in reality the only thing that was wrong was your inappropriate behavior. I don't care how rough you tell me your day is, there is no reason to make me feel like that was my fault when I was there plenty of time before my appointment! I see why your ratings are so low. Do better!

Went on a Sunday for a bad cough I couldn’t get rid of. The check in lady was very polite and helpful. Very professional and kind. The wait time was good—only had to wait about 10 minutes before being taken back. Dr.Betz was very polite and took his time explaining things and the treatment plan. Very thorough with everything and made sure I was on the same page as far as medicines rec’d. Had a pleasant experience for my first visit.

Been waiting over an hour even though I had an appointment. They took people who where walkins before people with appointments (there symptoms were not serious). They gave a half apology and then sit you in a room for another 30 minutes before seeing you to make you feel that you are next. So don’t bother making an appointment or better yet, go somewhere else.

Where do I begin. I had a 5:30 appointment only for them to let walk-ins ahead of me. It is currently 7:20 and no updates, all they did was take my temperature and bring me to one of the back rooms I’ve been back here since 6:25 and one guy took some swabs and said 10 minutes for results. It’s been about an hour. I’ve been sick for the last two days and decided to come get myself checked out. I actually feel more sick than I did when I came in. I don’t know how this place is open, it is so unprofessionally run. I needed to talk to someone for maybe 10 minutes to get antibiotics or something but I’m kept in the dark. Get off of your phones and be more professional. Thank you for making me absolutely miserable today, more than the sickness.

I went to the MedExpress in State College on Friday the 1st of March. I arrived at 3:00. I was told that I should return at 4:00 for my testing. When I arrived I checked in and sat in the waiting room. I was there over an hour waiting for a simple screening that took all of about five minutes.Your staff was very pleasant and professional. No complaints there. But one tech was doing the screening and she was just overworked. I likely could have gone to LabCorp and been in and out in a matter of minutes. Instead, I wasted over two hours on a simple screening.Not good.

Don't waist your time. It's 2:30 pm Waiting five minutes to be asked if she could help us check in. We asked to have my knee checked out. She said they're behind and i can't be seen. Unless I wanna come back at 6:15pm .No. thank you.
