Called the Dirty Merty for a good reason. The couch was unfit for a junkyard, never replaced, although they said it would be. They’ll find anything they can to charge you, but that’s pretty common in State College. But this place is especially terrible, and it’s further away from everything that you think

Never let your kid stay at this place. Dirty and old. Carpets disgusting and smell of mold. Absolutely outrageous charges for cleaning at the end of year. Way out of proportion. Do yourself a favor and run from this dump.

I moved into the Meridian on Thursday for my junior year. Overall I love it, the rooms are very spacious and clean. The hallways are very echoey and you can hear everything if you don't have an AC on. Other than that, I have no complains for sure.

I have enjoyed every minute of living here at the Meridian. The property is very well maintained, the staff is super friendly, and the apartments have everything I need. Not to mention the price for the location is a great deal. I wouldn't rather live anywhere else!

Fire alarm goes off every day. Terrible place.

Be VERY careful here. They will nickel and dime you out of your security deposit for things that do not need repair with zero upfront notice. Just a bill. Did this to a number of my friends as well.

Wouldn’t recommend living here. Especially in the 1 bedroom unit. Super overpriced for what it is on top of them finding ways to charge you for everything. Can’t even fit two beds in the bedroom, super old and broken appliances, couch cushions that get ruined after just sitting on them…(and they’ll charge you for that too) Our heating didn’t work for the entire winter despite getting maintenance to look at it. Neither did our dishwasher. The definition of exploiting broke college students.

No clue why the Meridian has so much hate on yelp. I moved in about a month ago and so far there's no issues at all. Staff is very helpful in the rental office and made things really easy for me. Apartment was clean and everything works perfectly. The bus stop here is great for getting places quickly in the cold. It is also not too far walking distance for classes and going downtown. Maintenance is incredible here, with someone always cleaning the hallways and clearing ice off sidewalks. Always smells pretty clean and never seems gross. Laundry, trash, and mail are very straightforward and easy. Never had an issue with any of the machines. I highly recommend the Meridian for anyone wanting a good deal close to campus.

Thank you to the Meridian staff for your impeccable service, and making sure that our speedy move in was a success!

My stay at the Meridian was overall a decent experience. I had no complaints until I had to rely on maintenance and management to solve a leaking issue (where the ceiling tile above the shower collapsed a few times, once on the back of my head). After a few weeks and many failed attempts by maintenance, it was only then that management called in a plumber--to which the plumber solved the issue within two hours. The only compensation given to me and my roommates was $20 gift cards each for our inconveniences.

I liked the meridian a lot. There were some maintenance problems that were handled. But, overall a nice and good priced apartment complex! Would recommend!

Living at the Meridian thus far has been a great experience. Our apartment is up to date and very nice inside. It's not like most college apartments where you can tell they have been lived in before. Would recommend living here!

Location was ok but there were ants all over my bathroom and behind our fridge and on the bedroom windowsills and it was a hassle to get it taken care of. Pretty gross place in general.

I enjoy living here. It’s close to campus and downtown. The only downside is that the white loop isn’t working so I have a long walk to classes
