I just got a haircut from Rob, and he completely messed up my hairline around the ears and back, leaving visible bald spots. I’m very upset because he noticed the mistake but tried to explain it away, first saying my hairline is naturally high, then suggesting it might be from a buzzcut, even though I buzzed my hair five months ago and my hair has grown out a lot since.
At the time, I didn’t realize how bad it looked, but he insisted it wasn’t visible and acted as if this was normal. He kept saying that he noticed it because he’s a freak about details!! This was my third haircut from him. My last one wasn’t great either, which is why I ended up buzzing my hair then, but I decided to give him another chance. Unfortunately, my hair is now ruined. I understand mistakes can happen, but I’m frustrated that he noticed the problem and still wasn’t honest with me.

Best barbershop in town! I only went to Silver Scizzors when I was in Penn State. Michael is the best barber I have ever met.

I have been going to Rob for my hair for over 15 years. He always takes the time to make sure I get exactly what I want and never rushes. I look forward to getting my hair done as he always makes me laugh and I enjoy the appointment. Thanks to Rob for being the best!!! I would recommend him to anyone

I showed up hours earlier than my appointment, and Michael was incredibly accommodating. He took the time to ask thoughtful questions about how I wanted my hair and was so patient with me—especially since I was nervous about making such a big change (cutting from my lower back to my collarbone!). One photo is from the inspiration I showed him, and the other is the amazing result he delivered. Ladies, if you’re looking for a great haircut, Michael is your guy! He truly knows what he’s doing.

This is the first barber shop I can confidently go to mere days before a big event and not have to worry about them messing up my haircut. I also go to Robert there, he is very talkative, generous, and always keeps me entertained. Every time I go to him he tells me the exact details about my haircut. He always listens to what I ask and doesn't try to do too much and cut off too much hair. He gives me great fades and will be the last barber I go to in state college.

This is the first and last barbershop I went to at Penn State. I highly recommend Rob, he is extremely detailed with his cuts and asks questions along the way. There’s no better place than silver scizzors!

Mike cut my hair and went extremely quick. He just rushed through the haircut without pay much attention. Me missed many pieces of hair, causing there to be many uncut pieces. My hair is uneven and different lengths simply because he decided to rush.

The staff are very friendly and genuinely care about the customer's needs. They will listen to your requests, and it is a very laidback and chill environment.
