I simply didn't understand that the reception guy asked to bring my battery. I thought I was told to bring the car in. It's a simple misunderstanding, nothing to get pissed off. I don't why he started using bad words

My company has recently moved offices and started taking our company cars to Midas for service, since it was close to the office. While the car service itself has been fine, the customer service is garbage, particularly one employee who seemingly hates his job. His entire demeanor is clear he doesn’t want to be there, and his actions are as if you are inconveniencing him before being there. Unfriendly and uninviting. I just picked up a company car from an inspection appointment. He had slapped the keys on the counter when I walked in the door, didn’t acknowledge me or make eye contact. I said “do you need anything else from me?” The reply “nope”. Realized right after I left that he never gave me the registration, insurance or the company maintenance card back.
I thought maybe because he didn’t give it to me at it counter, they had put it in the car. Wrong.
Overall, trash customer service, won’t be returning. And mostly definitely would never bring my personal car there.

Took my vehicle here with the intention of having strictly just an oil change done, being that I didn’t have the time to do it myself. I was quoted $45 over the phone and booked the appointment. Dropped the car off, talked to a nice gentleman at the front desk and left. Fast forward to picking up the car, I walk in expecting MAX a $50 invoice, and to my surprise I was charged ALMOST $100 DOLLARS.
Keep in mind, this was 4qt’s of oil and a cheap filter. Absolutely nowhere near $100 worth of materials and there is absolutely no chance the labor makes up the rest of that.
They did do the oil change though and I have no complaints other than the outrageous pricing, that had I been told in advance about, I would’ve never took my vehicle there. Highly recommend getting a written quote, take absolutely nobody’s word over the phone from here. 2/5.

We get inspections and tires at this location and have generally been well pleased. My wife made an appointment for an oil change, I changed it to inspection and tire install and specifically told them, “ I do not want an oil change—only an inspection and tire install.” While the completed the job well (presumably) and on the day they promised, they also did an oil change. “…wanting tires and inspection?…” was on the invoice—nothing about an oil change. The envelope for after hours drop off only had inspection and tire installation.
I understand the cause of the mistake, but there were multiple times when the mistake could have been caught, but wasn’t.
I was charged for the oil change I did not want. I was not offered a refund or a discount. I did get an apology, but I’d rather have my $80.
Yeah, we’ll probably still use them for inspections because of proximity, but we’ll be very sure they don’t do extra work at a charge to us in the future.

I had a terrible experience with this business. Their online information is completely misleading, claiming they have tires in stock and available for installation, which turned out to be false. They don’t honor what’s advertised online, and the staff was extremely rude throughout the process. This feels like false advertising, and I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Good, honest folks here, in my experience.
I was in for some safety checks following a pothole incident. Another shop might have pressed for going ahead with a full alignment, but they checked it over and explained it was really not necessary — it looked fine.
They kindly suggested other shops in the area that could perform other kinds of tests (computer, sensors) should we need them.
For all this, they didn't charge a thing!
(I brought 'em some little thank-you treats later, though)

Needed air in a tire and local gas station air was inadequate for my 26 passenger bus. Staff was friendly and helpful and got me right back on the road so I could get my group home safely. Customer ahead of me in line also seemed very satisfied with service she received at the shop. Small shop feel with good service.

Great mechanics here. Got my exhaust replaced and the total came out to less than what I was expecting. Also they were willing to keep my old one for a few days. Great experience!

Midas was our go-to place for inspection and oil change in the past ten years, since we moved to park forest. However, the service has been horrible in the past year or so. The guy at front desk was so angry and rude the whole time. We're done with them.Services: Tires

Easy, timely scheduling, great customer service, great prices for service, techs call to discuss issues with vehicle and pricing prior to moving forward. Always recommend best options. Great shop for tires and all auto needs.
