We ordered a ladder for our son's bed. We did have an issue with our order but it was taken care of immediately. The build quality of the product is second to none. Great quality and workmanship. You don't find products like this too often. Thank you guys.

I ordered a bunk in July 2022, now it is May 2023, they have stated the delay is due to supply chain issues and trouble sourcing the type of yellow pine they need for the frames. I would not place orders with this company if you would like your order fulfilled in 2023. I am starting to suspect I will not get my $400 deposit back based on other reviews I am reading. This is too bad, I like to send my dollars to support family businesses that make high quality products but I do expect to eventually receive the product. Hopefully they can turn things around.

This business is a scam. You will not get the product you order and you will fight them for years trying to get your money back. We still have not received our money back and the owners mom has said they dont have the money to issue refunds. Do not give these people your money

Update: I emailed them and said “prove to me I haven’t been scammed” and the ladder arrived the next week. Amazing!Had to take the sander to it before assembly because the poorly packaged hardware left dents in the wood. Simple mistake, easy to avoid. Sure, it’s easy to fix too but paid for the ladder so that I wouldn’t have to work on it myself.- - -Six months waiting for a ladder. I should have just built one myself. Constantly promising me it’ll be done next week….for months. Starting to believe I have been scammed. Stay away if you value your money.

We ordered a $661 bed frame on Oct. 2nd, 2022 knowing it would take 3 weeks or so to produce and ship, based on what they said online.It is now March 30th, 2023 and we still have no bed frame. We called to ask for our money back 3 weeks ago and they have still not returned our money. Seeing as how we neither have our bedframe nor our money back, we called yet again today and the owners mother answered.She said they had a whole lot of people demand returns and did not have the money to send a refund and that she'd have her son call me back. I asked her where the money went that we paid for a product we didn't receive. She said they used that to pay other debts. I told her that sounds like a pyramid scheme and her reply was that this is how a business operates.Clearly she's wrong since so many people are finding themselves in the same position as us.Be very cautious dealing with this company. They seem to be struggling with putting out products or issuing refunds. It's becoming clear that we'll have to go through our bank to do a chargeback on their accounts

Customer service (owner and mother) are nice; however, unfortunately, nice doesn’t go very far when you are over-promising, behind schedule, lacking in customer service skills and sending bunk beds with missing parts :(They do not answer the phone, you always have to leave a voicemail and they respond to emails far and in between.I let them know that the hair pins were missing from the delivery (they are important as they help keep the futon together (there are a total of 4 needed) and 2 months later, they sent me 1 in the mail!!! I am so sick and tired of going back and forth with these people that I am just leaving my review and will take this one to Home Depot (or somewhere) and try to find 3 matching ones.I can’t recommend this place because even though the finished product looks good, customer service is important. I’d hate to think how many calls and e-mails it would take to get a different, bigger part if it was missing/broken.

I would give 4.5 stars because the shipping time estimate wasn’t accurate but the quality of the bed frame is 5 out of 5 stars. My hubby worked in carpentry for few years and can tell when another carpenter has skill and takes care in their work. I would call and check in near the end of the estimated date of finish of product. My son really enjoys his big boy bed! Big plus it isn’t riddled with chemicals too!

We were excited about the prospect of the loft bed for our son. We placed the order in July 2021 and were told delivery would be in October. The whole country experienced shipping delays leading into the holiday season, so we remained patient. Room Doctor seemed slow to respond to emails and phone calls. Delivery was promised and missed a couple of times until our son decided he didn't want to wait for the loft anymore and I canceled the order, after waiting 10 months. In our last phone conversation I understood that the significant up-front payment would be credited to the card used. It has been over two months, and I am still waiting.

We ordered a loft bed when I was about 6 months pregnant with our third child. We needed the bed before the baby came, but room doctor was running much longer to fulfill orders. They worked with us to get it before our child was born and the finished product is perfect. It was easy to assemble, is sturdy, and looks great. Carol and Tom were really helpful. Really happy with our experience!

Placed my order and waited patiently. After three weeks I emailed and asked when should I expect my product hut ni response. After a month I call and ask for a eta then I am told 3-5 months for a ladder. I said no thank you just refund me the money. They said ok we will refund your money. It has been two weeks and no refund has been issued. I really need to order a ladder from a different source but these people will not give me my money back. I do mot think they intend to give me my money back. Next step is co taxting my bank to see what can be done.

Nobody answers the phone so you have to leave a message and receive a return call a couple days later. Gentleman was helpful in determining what size bunk bed ladder I needed as a replacement (one of their standard sizes) and said it would be 3 months from ordering date which was 5/21/21. Surprisingly, I was billed that day for an item that wouldn't be made or shipped for 3 months. I left voice message on 8/6/21 and 8/10/21 to check on the status. During returned call I learned ladder wasn't in production yet so I told him we were expecting company the weekend of 9/24/21 and had to have the ladder. Assurances were given that I would have it. I called on 9/15/21, left voice message asking where my ladder was as I had been told I'd receive an email advising me that it had been shipped. Carol called back, said it hadn't been made but they would now make it and ship on 9/20, priority mail. It shipped on 9/21 by priority mail and was received on 9/27/21, after our guests had come and gone. When I saw the ladder I could not believe that it wasn't made from in stock standard parts. rungs would be common for all ladders and it was one of their basic length ladders. We have assembled it and it appears to be very sturdy. Now we have to paint it. It took over four months...1/3 of a year. It should have arrived gold plated at that point!!!!! Don't use Room Doctor if you have a pressing need. If you want quality and don't care how long it takes and that they have your money all this time, they are good.
