There is no visible useable sign on the front of the hotel. OTHER than that it’s a fantastic hotel with a very friendly staff!!

BE AWARE BED BUGS! Stayed one night away from home room 206, ended up with over a dozen welts 24 hrs after leaving. Called hotel mgmt to advise and asked for copy of formal incident report. No response. Called Center County health dept to discuss, was referred to PA Attorney General. Terry Greene from AG office followed up after hotel told him they would refund us. Never happened. AG office then encouraged us to pursue legal action. DO NOT STAY here, just horrible

Nice hotel located at an ideal location in State College, easily walkable to the Penn State campus and all of the restaurants and shops you need to have a great PSU experience. Friendly and accommodating staff, clean and modern rooms especially compared to other downtown hotels. Also one of the more quiet hotels downtown as well.

Found bed bug bites 1 day after leaving. Very serious bites lasting 2 weeks. Called health dept. Called hotel. Nobody cared or called back. Room was very loud due to outdoor activity until 3 am. On Thursday. Do not recommend.

The staff at this hotel were excellent. Kind and attentive. The location was good and the hotel was clean.
However, the stay was overall not enjoyable. The fact that you cannot control the temperature of the room yourself is frustrating and made the room hard to bear. The beds felt very hard, cheap, and uncomfortable. The door to the bathroom could barely be closed it was so heavy and hard to move (not to mention made a lot of noise). The toilet flapper was disconnecting so often we left the toilet cover off for ease of fixing it.
I stay in a lot of hotels (and nice ones) and for the price paid, I was not pleased with the experience.

Cannot control the temperature of the rooms without having to call the front desk. Last 2 times rooms were booked I had to switch rooms due to a “heating malfunction” plus the rooms are more than dirty… could take your finger swipe it across the tops of the fridges or under the sofas and it would come off black…it’s just plain disgusting. The so called “management” is a joke. Staff will snap at you if you ask them for more bath amenities. The cocktail bar is a sticky unprofessional hole in the wall. The hole business needs visited by the health department…

Rooms were very reasonably priced and well appointed. The included breakfast as a diamond member was lackluster, but it was also free so there's not much room to complain.Front desk staff (Bridgett?) was very informative and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is located blocks away from Penn State. There is a restaurant on the main level. We didn't eat there but it appeared to be a popular eatery. There are many other restaurants located around the hotel. The room was modern and clean. It was quiet on our floor. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Loved everything about our stay here! The room was beautiful, spotless, and just the right size for us! It had a lovely kitchenette with full functioning appliances, which came in handy for housing our leftovers and locally purchased brewery items. The bathroom was equally as beautiful with a walk-in shower and more than adequate counter space for getting ready! There was a small seating area with a couch and ottoman, a large desk and television, and a rather larger storage closet, also! Nothing about the room felt cramped or stuffy. The man at the front desk was amazing and beyond kind. He checked on us multiple times (in a nice, very non-annoying way)! Both check-in and check out were easy as was parking; we parked in the public lot and were able to obtain a parking card from the hotel for reduced rate parking. The location of this hotel is ideal for walking downtown- we hit up several local spots all over downtown and felt very centrally located. We will definitely be staying again!!

Parking is a bit difficult, overall the collective service was not good. There were a few issues and all were unresolved or employees just acknowledged they were not going to address the concern. Better places to stay at in the walkable area, I recommend those.

My new favorite place to stay in State College! Of course the location is perfect in the heart of downtown. Service was fantastic - super welcoming. John at the front desk even heard our challenge of driving an overlanding vehicle into town, but not able to fit in any parking garages (surface parking lots are a relic of the past in State College now) - and he quickly solved the problem for us. Super pleasant staff all around. Rooms are fantastic - plenty of space, and, perhaps I did not read the room description well enough, but our room (and I assume maybe many in the hotel) had a full size fridge, kitchenette, dishwasher (I.e. could be a great place to stay overnight if tailgating at a sporting event). Digital keys work flawlessly, no useless front desk checkin to swipe the credit card one more time… and an early check was made available to us (even though we didn’t request it). This is clearly a very well run, well managed property. Thanks for raising the bar for accommodations in State College - as the other hotels in the area mostly don’t “get it”.Rooms: Good size, loved having a kitchenetteWalkability: Perfect location right at the heart of downtown state college.

Our stay was very pleasant. Very easy to book online and check-in was a breeze. The room was nice, nothing special but also nothing wrong with it.Our service throughout was wonderful! When we arrived, parking in the nearby garage was free for everyone - validation from the hotel wasn't necessary. By the time we checked out, the garage was charging. As we were leaving, Michael at the front desk chased us down to provide a validation pass. Literally ran across the lobby to stop us and make sure we could get out without hassle.About 2 hours later, we realized we had left something in the room. This was after our listed checkout time, but I called back and spoke with Michael again. He assured us that housekeeping could track down the lost item and we could pick it up from the front desk whenever. The service we received was awesome and put the entire stay above and beyond!
