The people seem basically good to excellent. the selection is a little thin, like, not that many kinds of actual metal staples for a stapler. this may be known. New phone tree subjected me to 20 s of marketing. thus, 2 stars, first impression. I'm sure they think I want to hear their new motto and their new slogan, but, I really don't. I saw this as a micro-agression, essentially.

I really like Staples and the service they give to customers . They are so professional and nice. I had an issue w a device (small device - a plug-in USB port ) that I had bought probably 6 months ago thsy wasn’t working and they really worked with me and let me exchange it for a new one! I was so impressed! This would never have been allowed at Best Buy! I think that Staples service is excellent and I give them a 10/10.

Needed to use a computer they charged .37 cents a minute and I was still seeing staples adds at $1,48 on the meter what a waste.

I have been patronizing Staples for years, used them for my office essentials & showroom supply. I recently purchased a Targus City Smart Laptop backpack for a business trip. The main zipper for the backpack came unstitched within the 1st 6 weeks. I returned it to the State College Staples, where I purchased it, to exchange it for a replacement. The manager at the service desk was extremely rude, sarcastic & was apparently did not care in any way about my issue. She said she did not have the backpack & they were no longer available. I showed her the backpack on the Staples web site & asked her to order the backpack for me. She snapped at me saying she would not be able to because I told you it is not available. I then showed her a photo of the empty hanger with the SKU code, description & item number from the backpack display from her store. In a rude sarcastic tone, she told me to call the staples 800 customer support line & that there was nothing else she would be able to do. I called the customer line while at the service desk, the lady that answered could not have been nicer. I explained to her want I was hoping to do & she was able to ship the replacement backpack to my home. She even gave me 2 day shipping at no additional cost. She did ask me why the store was not able to order the backpack, I tried to explain to her that the manager was head strong & rude with me, she apologized to me & explained to me that manage did not know how to place the order correctly. She then asked me a whopper of a question: Why did I have to call her? The manager should have been the person to call the customer support, not the customer. it seems the managers do not care to go the extra mile to give exceptional customer service, After all, the customer support tech told me that she would have been able to show the manager how to place an order over the on-line system. Everyone is pumping the concept of "Buy Local, support local businesses" But after this last situation with the local State College Staples, I will no longer shop there & I will be forced to buy my office supply & items on-line. Thank you State College Staples for the great customer experience. Buyers Beware!!!

This staples is the absolute best. Every time we’ve used the print center the team has gone above and beyond to make sure our product is exactly how we want it. Everyone is so kind and personable. We’ve been impressed each time, it’s the best place for printing needs in state college.

Staples is always our first go to place for supplies, printing, and office equipment. Some items, like Cannon printers and copiers have been difficult to get due to shortages (like most large retailers), but these are available, most times, on the Staples online store.

I needed information from 2 emails printed, I do not have a printer. The young man at the printing center was very nice and helpful. He helped me connect to the internet and made sure that everything was printed to my satisfaction. Great customer service.
