I own a 2006 Corvette and suddenly the vehicle wouldn't start. After playing around with it myself trying to resolve the problem i decided to have it transported to Stockers. When the tow truck arrived to pick it up it miraculously started for some reason and i drove it onto the truck. It also started when it was unloaded from the truck. Very puzzling. Saeed (technician), started it and moved it into the garage. He wondered at this point, why is the car in the shop? He programmed the FOB's and all seemed well until he drove it from the shop and found he was locked in the vehicle. I'm not certain how he got out. Anyway, to make a long story short Saeed determined that the RCDLR computer module was defective and unfortunately for me GM doesn't manufacture it any longer. See invoice # 61020 BURG for the rest of the story. Both Amy and Saeed kept the situation under control. Saeed put a tremendous amount of effort into the project. He told me he that he reviewed videos of the problem in the evening (on his own time) to see if other C6 owners encountered the same issue. To go the extra mile for the customer is rare these days. That impressed me. Stocker is fortunate to have dedicated employee's such as Saeed and Amy in resolving customer problems. You now have a new customer.Barry Burger

First experience with this dealership. I came in on a Saturday with a question about my vehicle and looking to get an inspection. Even though Penn State was battling it out with Ohio State, the service team was very helpful and able to get my inspection completed right away, along with answering what questions I had. I will 100% be coming back to this dealership for any of my vehicle needs in the future.

Will never buy a car from Stocker ever again- they never change the black oil and they never tell you what it really wrong with their vehicles.... one thing after another is going wrong. Guess what! Nothing is covered by their lovely warranty. I had to buy a new battery today because the old one was only charging at 32%- should've known better when they had to jump the car at the dealership so we could go for a test drive. Thanks again!Buy somewhere elseWe had to fix the heating system because it didn't work correctly...The sensors don't work correctly, either, and the tires aren't going to pass inspection. What a joke

My situation was close to impossible but they got me what I needed. I didn’t feel like just another random customer with a money sign on my forehead. I felt like they TRULY cared about me and my situation. They turned my entire week around! They’re truly amazing.

Do not use for vehicle inspections or repair work. New to PA from MI. Inspection failed - they wanted over $5,500 to fix it. Delco part costs marked up more than 100% of what you can buy them elsewhere for. Drove car back to MI - my mechanic fixed everything for under $2k. I came back for reinspection. They then told me that it failed inspection because the wipers were streaking. Amazing they were fine less than 3 weeks earlier and had been replaced 9 months ago. They also reiterated that I had a bad seal on the front end but it didn't need to be fixed for inspection. I ran to store and bought new wipers and brought them to them. They actually said they would put in for free and pass me. I then asked about the bad seal as my mechanic in MI fixed that as well because they mentioned it on the first inspection. I had the receipt and called my mechanic to verify. He confirmed the part had been replaced a week earlier. Stocker then put the vehicle on a lift and cleaned the area - no leak was found. Be careful because they see buildup and tell you that you have a leak - they didn't see an actual leak - my mechanic hadn't cleaned all the buildup off the area when he replaced the part. They also said the car was rusty underneath and may get a hole in the frame and the car wouldn't pass inspection next year and told me the worst area. I took it to a local shop in State College and they said the frame was in good shape for a MI car and didn't believe it was at risk for a frame hole based on their inspection and my mechanic in MI confirmed the same thing. My mechanic in MI said if I ever had a problem he would just weld on a plate and spay it with undercoating if that ever happened and a small hole in a frame doesn't mean trash the car. PA is fueling business for the repair shops and many people are getting ripped off from what I can see. I come from a GM family and several work at corporate - I know what it should cost for a repair and when a diagnosis seems wrong. This will likely be the last time I use a dealership unless it is for warranty work on a new vehicle.

I made an online reservation for a vehicle in July 2022, which was marketed as fully refundable through Chevys website. The new model took a while to be developed and pricing was higher than current market and it lacked Carplay - not a problem. I requested a refund through Chevy’s website. Like the entire time I had the reservation, I heard nothing from Stocker (who Chevrolet ran my credit card through). After not hearing anything for 10 days post refund request, I used Stockers website contact form to ask about the rebate. No one answered. I called 2 days later. Receptionist took my information and no one returned my call. I went in to the showroom on a Saturday.First salesman said “ you might need to come back during the week.” Finance guy tells me they were “busy with end of the month stuff and couldn’t process your refund. You’ll get your money.”I understand things happen. People get busy. Call me back and explain what I should expect. I shouldn’t need to communicate and come in multiple times (as first suggested) to get a refund that is supposed to be processed online. I’ve never met a car dealer that would be fine with a customer not responding for weeks when a payment is due- the same respect should go the other way.

I came in for a routine oil change and diagnosis on what I suspected was oil getting something it didn’t belong. The team was able to diagnose this. In the process of the inspection, the mechanic also found about 10 other problems (several of which sounded like big ticket issues). I had no problem with this aspect of the visit. My dissatisfaction came from how all of this was handled. I got the inspection video to watch just before 10am, where I basically had to listen to this laundry list of problems, and when the video concluded, it said “we’ll be in touch soon!” It took me reaching back out to the service department over 5 hours later to get more clarity on the visit (I never got contacted… I had to do the contacting around 3pm). After speaking with the advisor, I was given a $9,600 quote for repairs, and it initially felt like this was no big deal in their mind. After I asked if I could take time to process this, then I felt like I got a little empathy. (Spoiler alert: $9,600 is a big deal and is not an amount of money that most people have laying around to put into a vehicle on a whim).Bottom line: no issues with the service or diagnosis of anything. The lack of timely communication or empathy is what made this visit very disappointing and makes me not want to come back.

The sales process was a pretty rough one when it came to buying my used 2015 Volkswagen Golf. But with the help and determination of their A+ service department run by Matt Roan in conjunction with their sales department. These guys got me back on the road with my new ride! Thanks again to those wonderful folks at Stocker Chevrolet.

Had stocker put new tires on my wife’s vehicle, 3 days later valve stems leak. Took her vehicle back over and they charged me to fix tire pressure sensors and valve stems because they installed wrong. Stocker claims they were fine when they installed them.

We have been a customer at this location for several years. It's very clear that there have been major changes in the Service department over the last few months. With respect to this particular service, it took me several weeks of calls/emails to finally get scheduled to replace the tires on our car. On one case, I was told "we no longer carry tires for your car" on the phone. While I understand that it may take some time to train new employees, but I also get the feeling that the others who have been there for years also no longer care about solving problems for the customer. Considering the history we have had with this location, I'm willing to give the team one more chance to make things be a positive experience.

Glad to have this opportunity to let you know about a situation at my previou visit. When I can in for an inspection the tech said I needed new ball joints soon. I had a tire issue, so I ask them to replace the ball joints at the same time and they told me nothing was wrong with them. Then came this oil change and the video inspection and nothing was mentioned about the ball joints needing replace. Just seems a bit strange. Today's visit was super!

Not my favorite car dealership in this area but.... Our Bolt was there for its annual inspection recently and, during the visit, I received a link to a video of the tech doing the inspection. The video seemed to be taken from a head cam so it showed each item being inspected and the tech's comments. Succinct and clear. I found the video interesting and helpful. Very nice!
