Today I went to the Verizon store on N. Atherton, State College, PA. My (very quick and easy to schedule online appointment) was for 10:00 AM. I arrived at 9:40 and was warmly greeted at the door by one of the managers. He said that someone would be with me quickly. He was. Customer Service representative, JULIAN MARTINEZ, approached me with a smile and sat down beside me. He was FANTASTIC! It is rare to receive such excellent customer service in today's hurried world. With kindness and patience he guided me through the hoops required to transfer an AT&T device to a new Verizon phone, which was a gift from my son. There was no commission involved, as the phone was already purchased 3,000 miles away. Yet, I was treated as though I was purchasing the most expensive device and plan offered. I am an older woman, and, to say that I am not tech-savvy would be a gross understatement. I left Verizon with an activated phone and a wonderful impression of the store and my total experience there!
