The only reason I’m not giving one star to this location is because of the actual cashier who helped my husband and I that day. She was super nice and friendly and helped us figure out if our items were on sale.
But there was an older woman employee who was definitely rude.
There was a dressing room that was apparently closed off but there were no signs or anything indicating that no one should go in. I waited outside while my husband tried the clothes on he wanted, and this older woman comes marching up to the door repeating “Oh no no no no no”. She walked into the dressing room, rudely told my husband he wasn’t allowed in there because it was closed and shut the door. It would have been fine if she would have just told us it was closed, really it would have. But instead of being polite, and possibly thinking we didn’t know that, she was demanding and rude.
Then, as we were walking to go find a check out spot, she asked if we needed help. We were good but she kept yelling as we walked away, asking to help us. We clearly didn’t because we weren’t even going in her direction at that point but she just kept shouting at us if we needed help.

Just a shout out for the hair salon. The other day I went into the store to return something and impulsively decided to get a haircut/style, since they weren't busy, and no appointment was necessary. Colleen was excellent and gave me a great cut! My first time there, but I'll definitely return. ?

As soon as I walked into the store and picked up a piece of clothing I was followed and harassed by an old lady working there.
I was bombarded with questions and told her "I'm good" several times before she left me alone. Immediately after I started walking away she began speeding around corners to follow me and stare me down. I noticed immediately and it made me extremely uncomfortable as I just wanted a chance to browse around. I decided to put the clothing back after about two more minutes of clearly being followed and leave because of this. As I started walking towards the exit her and another worker that she brought with her stood and stared at me until I got close to them, and the old lady began repeatedly asking "where's the jacket?" as if she were accusing me of stealing it, when I clearly had nothing on me. I asked her "what?" and "why?" and told her that I don't have it, and she proceeded to ask me where it is again. After I finally told her that I put it back she left me alone, but had no response to me asking what her issue is and calling her out for following me throughout the store. Even during my whole walk out of the store she stared at me. It is disgusting for an employee to act in such an unwelcoming, and hostile way. If you enjoy being harassed and made uncomfortable by employees then this is the perfect store for you.

We were able to find everything and looking at all the jewelry was nice! They had a nice sale. Service was nice and helpful.

The Jewelry section staff are so amazing. Diane is so nice and so is Elaine and the other lady. They were so helpful and so patient and professional in helping me pick out some nice Opal jewelry. I got a nice earring and ring set and they patiently helped me even though I went back like 5x being picky ??. I love opal even my bird does lol…(see images)… I love the Effy collection!!If you want nice jewelry definitely see any of these ladies. Amazing service!!

One of the last Big Department Stores. JC Penny is still as relevant today. They have all you need, and it's all quality, not bargain store stuff!!
