A lot of stuff decent staff, but watch your checkout we have had an issue with 2 of their cashiers, but other than that, a very good place update: one of the problem cashiers is gone

Ordered a sausage roll today and normally they come with sausage peppers and onions well today the guy only put a little sausage and cheese in it come to find out he's not the original guy he's a fill in it never been behind a pizza counter to make any kind of pizza or rolls or anything ShopRite really needs to delegate and know who to put in the right positions to me it's poor management

Went to the bar for the first time and Melinda had outstanding customer service and patience (especially dealing with me). Will be visiting again soon just to see her !

Nice Shoprite besides the deli counter. They clearly had a decent budget to spend but it looks like most of it went to aesthetics rather than functionality. I don't mind most of the store's layout but the deli counter is always a disaster and I usually skip it when I go now. It makes no sense why a big supermarket would make the deli section so tiny and inefficient. The liquor section and prepared foods section is bigger. And it's always understaffed. You have to order on a mobile kiosk and come back for your order at a designated time. The time is anywhere from 20-35 minutes that I've seen which is usually sufficient and gives me time to go through the store and circle back. The circling back is annoying on crowded days but would be worth it if the orders were ever ready on time or correct. You're supposed to grab your order from an alphabetized fridge but I think some people take other's orders or the staff just mess it up. And when you say something they don't really want to interact with you and when you finally get someone to help they just have to start your order over again. So why not just make the section bigger and convert the deli counter to a regular service counter at that point? Sorry for the rant.I really do enjoy this Shoprite. I just dread having to get anything from this section.

I enjoy shopping here and when I'm hungry I stop at the pizza or smoke house to grab something to eat. Everyone is helpful and willing to answer any quotations I have. Online catering is easy.

I Really must go all the way to the Broadheadsville Shoprite from now on, I cannot count how many times I am bringing outdated food back, yesterday brought back 2 Packages of LLoyds ribs that expired last month, Courtesy tells me just go get 2 more, guess what there were 3 more with same expired dates, I advised the butcher that was putting out meats so he can disgard them SMH
If I am in a hurry I can't always look at the expiration dates especially when shopping for a family of four .. and there is not enough cashiers open NEVER....at best 3...you go to Broadheadsville literally every lane open and a visably much cleaner and desirable store ..
Do better Stroudburg Shoprite!

Try going to get a slice of pizza at the Stroudsburg store. 6 people working catering. They have pizza all laid out... for what!? You can stand there for 5 minutes and nobody even looks at you. Finally when they do and your only asking for a simple slice of pizza they take it out in a minute and by the time you get back after paying for it they have it on top of the oven as if to keep it warm yet its hardly warm at all. Totally insane. Several times its like your invisible and they will even look at you and then not even ask what you would like. Pathetic

This ShopRite location is spotless and well stocked. The old location was really run down so it’s a pleasure to visit the new location within the mall. It’s a bit further away, but well worth the trip. They carry an excellent selection of groceries. The butchers are knowledgeable and helpful. I am not a fan of self check out, so I appreciate that they always have several manned registers.

We got to the shoprite around 1130. It wasn't crowded at all. We got in and were able to finish our shopping quickly. The only issue was checkout. Most of the the checkout process is painful there. Not sure why. There's always a problem. We had 2 rainchecks. Neither on redeemed properly. We decided to skip one of the items due to problems. The other we kept. We go to shoprite because the prices are good but with the consistently poor checkout experiences it might be time to go elsewhere .
Update 4/18/25 stopped in to pick stuff up. Place was mobbed. I got what I needed and got out. Prices were good. Checkout was fast.

Placed a deli order on the app for oven roasted turkey breast at the deli. On the app it said it was on sale 7.99 a pound. Went to pick it up SAME day an hour later it said shoprite executive turkey breast 10.99 a lb. I questioned it and was told it was on sale the week before. First of all they gave me the wrong item. And on the app it said 7.99 a lb. No one wished to rectify the issue. Left the turkey on the counter and left.
