Definitely check this studio out! The place is clean and professional with super cozy vibes! RenDi is so kind and helpful and his work is absolutely beautiful! I'm so happy with my new tattoo. A number of years ago I walked into The Alter looking for a coverup for a very old tattoo that I hated. RenDi spent tons of time both on the design and working on the coverup making sure that I was happy with every part of the process. This resulted in what is now my favorite tattoo I have.
Cut to a few years later, I have an entire sleeve done by him, and we are working on an entire back piece now as well. I cannot recommend this shop any higher. From the cleanliness, the artists, and the work that comes out of The Alter, there is no other shop, and no other artist I will ever go to. RenDi can tattoo any style and will make your ideas become amazing works of art. Prices are also extremely reasonable. I cannot give this shop enough praise. Make sure to check out this shop for your next tattoo and piercing!

I had the honor of having RenDi as my artist and I am absolutely blown away by his abilities! I could not possibly be any happier with how my first arm tattoo turned out, it’s absolutely gorgeous! It was just what I imagined when i sent him my examples to work with. The colors blend beautifully and the line work is so smooth!! This is my sixth tattoo, (first one i got at this location) and it is without a doubt, my most favorite tattoo i have gotten yet! I highly recommend booking your next appointment with RenDi. The place is so clean and artists are so respectful. RenDi did my tattoo, did an amazing job and was very accommodating!! I bought his numbing cream as well and it worked perfectly! Absolutely worth the 2hr drive!

Forgot to post reviews when I initially got my piercings here; I got my bridge back around January and recently got my angel bites / double monroe done a few months ago and it was a great experience both times ! The artists are friendly and experienced, things are clean, etc. All around a 10, def my go-to to get pierced and will be going back ^_^

I’ve had the honor of RenDi designing and tattooing four masterpieces on me. RenDi saw my vision with each piece and turned them into incredible works of art. He is the most creative and talented artist I’ve had the privilege of knowing. His line work is flawless and his work speaks for itself. I receive compliments on my tattoos every single day. The shop is clean and all the artists there are awesome. I recommend RenDi, Tim, Myke, and Sherley to anyone and would never set foot in any other shop.

Absolutely horrible. The place is so dirty and not sanitary. Every time you walk in there, you smell weed. The tattoo I got is faded, and my lines are very crooked. I spoke to the owner, RenDi, who did my tattoo, and explained to him my concerns and all he did was give me an attitude and didn’t offer me anything for my complaints. My brother went in and got a tattoo from RenDi also and was very unhappy with the results. I would definitely not recommend this place at all.
