I can not believe this place does taxes they like charged me 600 dollars im below poverty but work charged me 600 told me because I brought my bf we both would get 25 dollars off actually the phamlet said 75 then sje says no it's 20 then I got nothing g back after the 600 h and block got amd I was told I was gwttin back 6000 the secretary different ones thay were on the many times I had to come back cause they forgot something they mixed me amd my bus stuff all together to the point where nothing g was right we had wrong signatures on out papers oh no problem white it out listen bad bad decision amd choice if u use here u will regret it amd the service me ain who works the front desk the couple of the there are only 1 seems to semi know what was going on the other two were frantic and never knew what was going on they know nothing they lie scheme and scam almost I have used this place in the past and never had a problem well let me tell u how quickly things change the atmosphere was so uncomfortable it wasn't even funny nonne knew nothing 2 star is to many

I’ll start off by saying I love H&R Block. I’ve always used them. Went to this branch because I was claiming my fiances children this year, and this is where she gets her taxes done specifically so I figured I’d make it easy. Jacob, the tax “pro” was absolutely horrible. I’m not one to complain about customer service, because I understand everyone has an off day. But when it comes to something like taxes, I don’t care about the service so much as I do the knowledge of the person doing my actual taxes. My questions were answered wrong 6 different times. Had to re work them 4 different times. Multiple voicemails after I left claiming one thing and then it didn’t turn out that way. Could not get a solid straightforward answer on the most simple question. Every time I asked a question, he would put the phone down and whisper questions to his boss who also didn’t seem to know the answer. This was almost comical. He was providing me information on laws that weren’t in effect anymore since 2021. My 8 year old son could’ve given the same service that this branch provided. I was working with a single W-2 with a few dependents for the entire year or 2024 and it was an absolute train wreck with these guys. I couldn’t imaging doing a 1099 or mortgages, business write offs, or anything more technical than the absolute minimum of a tax filing. Will be going somewhere else for sure. Stay far away unless you feel like having the IRS audit you for the rest of your life because of the organization this place has lol.
